Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Faro

We had a fantastic vacation thanks to Rosa and Nuno. Both greeted us upon arrival and were very warm and absolutely helpful. They provided us with great tips on destinations and restaurants on their own. The place had everything we needed and also a great terrace for breakfast, dinner, chilling and with fantastic views of meadows and fields. The property is so large that you can walk laps of exactly one kilometer on a dirt track. Great was also the electric juicer, which we used to make fresh O-juice every day. An absolutely recommended place to stay with two totally lovely hosts.

A great little flat in Faro, was spotless and in walking distance to the train station, really easy transfer to the airport and 5 mins to the centre of Faro.

Absolutely stunning location, absolutely nothing default, the only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues both the walkway up to the property and the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom could be a little bit challenging especially if you’ve had a few drinks, we are in our 60s and generally fitso it was no problem for us.

Fabulous location in the middle of the old/historic part of the town.. & very convenient/central to get around the historic town & waterfront ... also public transport close by... Shops & restaraunts nearby.. Small but very comfy apartment with everything you need ....& the rooftop terrace is a gorgeous added bonus... & amazing view of the storks nesting on neighbouring rooftops!.... Angela was incredibly helpful when we needed it...& very friendly... All round a great place to spend some time in Faro in... we loved it!

I loved the stay. The house is comfortable, clean and exactly as in the photos. I had everything I needed to feel at home. The location was also great, very close to the station, there is the forum that you can walk to. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend it 😌

Maria's place is highly recommended. We didn't miss anything, everything was clean and the apartment was very well equipped. Very quiet location and yet the city was a 5-minute walk away. Also, a large supermarket was close by. Maria was very friendly and gave us great tips for excursions. Always happy to come back:)

The most beautiful home. Central / walkable location. Very clean and spacious home. Easy check in, navigation and communication with the host. Stunning location. Peaceful and private. Within a 10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. Ricardo left a long list of recommendations on where to eat, what to do and which spots provided traditional Portuguese experience. Overall 10/10 and highly recommend!

The apartment is even better than we thought. It's in a great location, comfortable, well decorated, parking is a real plus and Ivan is a great host. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

We spent our vacation in this great beach apartment for the 2nd time and enjoyed Mark's hospitality. The apartment is perfect for our needs: On the one hand, this wonderful Praia da Falesia is "on the doorstep", on the other hand, you can quickly reach the west and east of Portugal by car to discover other beautiful places in the Algarve. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and there is also an excellent cocktail bar with tapas to end a nice summer evening. We will be happy to come back.

Staying at Joana’s place in Lagos was the most heartwarming and memorable Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed - not just as guests, but as a little family. My wife, our baby, and I were blown away by the love and attention Joana poured into every detail of the home. The interior is simply stunning - unbelievably lovely, with an eye for exceptional decoration that makes the space feel not only stylish but deeply cozy and comforting. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, inviting us to slow down and feel at home. One of our favorite features was the patio with its small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm afternoons. It became a peaceful little sanctuary, away from the buzz of Lagos, and gave us that much-needed feeling of retreat. What touched us most, though, was Joana’s incredible hospitality. We had a lovely stay, the apartment is bright and welcoming. Parking is available downstairs from the apartment, we were able to park easily. The pool and playground are downstairs from the apartment. Wonderful beach next door. Finally, the hosts were very responsive and gave very good advice I would highly recommend this place for your holiday in the Algarve

We just got back from a week stay at Marco’s place and we really enjoyed our time. So close to the strip and lots of restaurants and bars nearby and the beach is a 10 min walk. We hired a car for the week so secure parking was a must for us and Marco’s place delivered. Highly recommend staying here for a base in the Algarve.

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Hella was an amazing host! The unit was immaculate, which we loved. Loved having the beach steps away and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. I am looking forward to going back to the Algarves, and when we do, we would totally stay here again!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! we loved everything. from the residence to the house. it's a little gem. the house is well organized with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful balconies especially one where we had lunch and dinner. all in a quiet and peaceful setting. perfect for children. the sea is very close and within walking distance, 4 swimming pools. in short, what more do you want? carlota was helpful and very kind.
