The "il Cottage" accommodation is a lovely two bedroom apartment that is right next to the fortress (which makes it even more evocative). Francesca and Aliek welcomed us with kindness and professionalism, making us feel like we are in our home. Their whole family was very nice and helpful, including dogs, cats, and donkeys who were an unexpected and very enjoyable company for us. The fortress is located in a very quiet area but at the same time close to the main tourist attractions of Umbria easily reachable by car, at most in a couple of hours. Absolutely recommended for both couples and families, or simply for people who love tranquility and beauty .

The room is simply wonderful: very clean, with attention to detail and equipped with many amenities, including a fantastic hot tub that made the stay even more relaxing. The environment is cozy and tastefully decorated. A special thank you to the host, who was really kind, helpful and attentive to every need. A perfect place to unwind and feel pampered. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed in the apartment for a week and absolutely loved it. The flat was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable and had a lovely view (beautiful sunset!!!) The weather was super hot and we would have not been able to sleep without air-conditioning, so it was great to have that. The bathroom is very spacious and has a great shower. The only thing to be aware of is that the flat has a few stairs connecting the bedroom and the kitchen so if you're staying with anyone with mobility issues, keep that in mind. The host, Franco, was welcoming, kindly waited for us on the day of the check in and checked if there was anything that we needed. Awesome place and great host!
