Cottage vacation rentals in Fair Haven

Seldom, do you find a place where time stands still, the host is warm and welcoming and the location is beyond beautiful. This was our stay at Diane's cottage on the lake. We hiked local parks, kayaked the lake, enjoyed wonderful food, shopped and took in the view. Diane and her extended family were open, warm and delightful. Our regret is we didn't stay longer. Should we ever return, we will definitely stay at the cottage. Our many thanks and blessings to Diane and her family for making our stay remarkable.

Nice setting easy to get to all activities we were looking to do like Watkins glen and wineries. Tony provided detailed instructions and gave good recommendations!

We had the best family get away!! Great views from the house, kitchen has everything you need, the hot tub and fire pit were awesome bonuses and overall the place was excellent! We rent a lakefront getaway at least twice and year and this one was one of if not the best places we’ve stayed! Hosts are super nice, quick to answer any questions you have, and check in/out were super easy. And if you’re bass fishing, this is the perfect spot. 11/10!!

The place was wonderful and even more spacious than it looks in photos. Matthew was excellent and quick to communicate. Hope to stay again in the future!

We had an amazing stay at the Oak cottage. Beautiful inside and out. Communication was quick and all our questions were answered. You can tell Jan takes great pride in her rentals. All the extra touches were greatly appreciated. Everything was as pictured and in working condition. The hot tub was amazing and the sharing system works great. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was extremely clean. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

We came to see Goose at CMAC and wanted a full lake weekend and this definitely delivered! The place is beautiful, comfortable, and close to anything you’d want to do, would definitely stay again!

We traveled to Sodus Point with a small group of middle school aged kids as part of a learning adventure. We loved the house! The kids especially loved fishing on the dock, using the paddle boards and enjoying the games (like Spike ball) that were in the shed. We lucked out with beautiful weather and these crazy kids even went swimming in the water which was only 41F!!! We used the grill, had a fire outside and even made time for a movie night in the living room together. The house was also close enough to other things for us to make many day trips around the area. We even ventured to Niagara Falls from there - 2 hours away. We really enjoyed our time there. Michelle was very responsive to my questions and helpful when I needed it. Thank you!

Had a wonderful weekend getaway! Right across the street from Lakeshore Winery and not even a 10 min drive from plenty others. Beautiful location on the lake, would highly recommend and would def come again!

Jesse’s place was the perfect cozy-with-a-view getaway. Ideal location, relaxing, well-designed and stocked. Jesse was eager to offer suggestions and very responsive. Hope to visit again!

This rental was super cute and comfortable right on the water. We had a girls weekend and had everything we needed at Courtney's place. The cottage overlooks the water and it is a beautifully clear lake. Beds were very comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There are a few set of stairs to get down to the cottage along with stairs to access the downstairs living quarters/bedroom so just be aware of that. We saw Eagles over the water and heard owls at night...very peaceful and private. Tons to do in the town of Skaneateles as well and lots of great restaurants. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone and are looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Anne's place. The stairs are very steep, but the handrail is very sturdy. We had everything we needed. We loved all the beautiful decor and how the old house has been redone to become this beauty. The beds were super comfortable and the house was able to fit all 6 of us comfortably for 5 days. We appreciated the availability of the kayaks and the close proximity to the pond where the water is super calm for beginner kayakers. Anne was quick to respond to any questions we had. The driveway is big enough for 3-4 vehicles. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your absolutely stunning home!

Our 2nd Family Vacation to Erica’s Golden Sunset lakefront property. It’s an absolutely fantastic property, comfortable beds and well equipped amenities (kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and out door spaces) There is no property in the area this unique. Looking forward to another trip soon.

Clean, comfortable beds, beautiful back yard with the sounds of the river with a cup of coffee or the fire. Caught fish, ate good food both in town and on the grill, went to the farmers market, explored many of the towns and state parks near by. Owners gave clear instructions and responded quickly to questions.

Very attentive host. Provided great recommendations of local establishments. The place is very well kept and described perfectly. If I am ever in the area I would stay here again.

This was the first time our family decided to get an Airbnb instead of booking a hotel and it blew us away!!!! This was the best travel experience we have ever had! Amazing location, perfect little beach town nearby, space for everyone ; we will definitely be back!!!

This is a lovely, tranquil spot south of town. Great location if you plan to explore around the area and right on the lake. Had everything we needed!

No need to bring extras that are sometimes lacking at other airbnb's - Ellyn's place has EVERYTHING you'll need for a GREAT stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights in this house. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked very well for our group. The setting on the lake was perfect for relaxing with our morning coffee and for a beautiful sunset across the lake. We would stay here again easily!!
