This special guest suite was built specifically for short term guests and has fantastic natural light with decorative Italian tile and local artisan's works. We are committed to providing you a unique, peaceful and comfortable escape from the world. We welcome any feedback that will help us improve the Chipmonk or the experience.

Little cabin in the woods

Enjoy a private getaway for 2 with wood-burning stove (MUST bring firewood), indoor dining/cooking area with 2-burner propane stove (propane provided), sleeping loft, outdoor sitting area with propane gas grill. NO electricity or running water. Outdoor shower stall with two 5-gallon solar heated shower bags. Bring towels. Outhouse nearby. Bring food & ice. Well water provided from spigot at main cabin. Cot available UPON REQUEST in advance - prior arrival. NO CAMPFIRES OR USE OF ANY FIREPITS.

It places you in the middle of a wooded landscape boasting large windows all around that make you feel like you are outside in the snow, yet stay warm and cozy inside.

Relax and unwind in front of the stone wood burning fireplace. Work and play in the secluded and cozy office. This cabin is refreshingly simple & has an earthy feel. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t the cabin for you. It is VERY clean, but not updated/renovated. No pets allowed.

Mountain Carriage House-(Tiny House)

This is a space of 360 sq. ft., which includes a small kitchenette, with microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, hot tea kettle, and mini fridge. There is one full bathroom; please note that the bedroom and common area, which holds one sofa big enough for two people, is a shared space. This is a tiny house. Quaint and comfortable, and small. Enjoy fresh clean linens, and on cool days, bump the little red gas stove up and enjoy a cozy fire.
