Such a beautiful place right by the ocean! Walking distance to see the ocean right across the street! We arrived after dark and you could hear the waves and smell the ocean right outside the Airbnb which was lovely. The place is just as described and very clean. Would definitely stay here again! Also super close to the redwoods! I wanna say it was less than 20 minutes!

It was a very cozy stay, nestled in a serene area right near the ocean. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the individual pieces of consideration, including the lovely music that played as we entered the cottage. It really set the tone for such a nice and peaceful stay.

Couldn’t recommend it more! The warm and welcoming owners instantly made us feel at home, sharing their passion for hosting and local tips. The beautifully decorated bungalow was cozy and comfortable, surrounded by lovely gardens that created a serene atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, as we were given fresh eggs from the charming chickens on the property! Overall, our stay was a perfect blend of relaxation and hospitality

This was an absolutely great place for our anniversary!! Close to redwoods, beach and only a hop away from eureka! Everything you could need in a great private lil area!! Clean, cute and perfect amount of space! Highly recommend the Finnish Country Hot Tubs just 5 minutes from this place.

We loved our stay, it was beautiful and peaceful. The hosts were helpful but not intrusive. Hope to come back again.

We just love Ferndale, and have been staying in the perfect and quaint Victorian town for decades on and off. This Airbnb is right downtown, could not be closer to the restaurants and the shops, and historic cemetery. The old barn is a delight, with a lovely view of the back. The proprietors have thought of everything, every little detail and amenity. Charming, quaint, the perfect kind of place to stay at when visiting Ferndale. Highly recommend.

Nancy was a great host - very attentive and a great communicator. She provided tips on the area that helped make our stay memorable. The space itself was exactly what we needed, which was a place to land each evening after a day full of exploring the beautiful redwoods and all the area holds. We’d love to go back again!

We stayed at this place as a stopover to meet friends that live here for dinner on the way to San Francisco. It was quiet and peaceful and had a big beautiful tub to soak in and wake up to birds. Tracy met us at the drive and was very helpful.

nice 2 bedroom 2 bath functional space. tucked inside a quiet wooded lot. perfect for my family's 1 night stay during our road trip through the state parks. simple space, very clean, was very comfortable. 10 minutes to town. followed Google GPS to the listed address and it's the smaller single blue house on the lot.

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

Loved this sweet little abode in a quiet and private setting -- one of my fave Airbnb experiences. Soothing sand and sea colors (tans and blues), comfortable bed, lots of recommendations on things to do and see in the area along with many restaurant suggestions in downtown Arcata, which was only a few minutes away. I didn't cook but I appreciated the two burner electric hot plate included in the kitchen. Highly recommend this lovely space!

What a GEM!!! A super quaint, quiet, private cabin! The VIEW!! The BEACH steps away!! So close to grocery store- we opted to eat at home rather than dining out just to take in the amazing sunset from our private deck, surrounded by gardens. We spent 3 days exploring redwoods from this central location.

My family of four including two young children enjoyed Andrew’s house immensely. The setting was even more peaceful than we imagined, and the furnishings, interior design, and art pieces reflected the peaceful surroundings perfectly. It was a great location from which to visit national parks, the zoo, forests, breweries and the coastline. Thank you Andrew! We will be sure to recommend your apartment to anyone looking to stay in Arcata.

The view was breathtaking! We sat for hours observing deer and birds from outside the little nook. the floor is very squeaky just a heads up. However the rest was beautiful.

Cozy and comfortable stay in Eureka. Just right off the main strip so you have peace and quiet but close enough that you don’t feel distant. Very cute coffee shop in walking distance. Very relaxing home and comforts of home.

This is one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, the house felt cozy and inviting. Steve went above and beyond with a gift basket, local recommendations and a lovely home. The little touches meant the world to us. The location can’t be beat. We loved our morning walks along the beautiful redwoods. We enjoyed oysters and wine at Humboldt Provisions, breakfast at Golden Harvest Cafe (their blueberry muffin latte is a must), a trip to Samoa, the Sequoia Park Zoo and Babe’s Pizza. Lovely home — the house was clean and comfortable. Great for one night’s stay in Eureka on our way from Redwoods down to Mendocino. Stocked with the essentials and house was spaciousness for our family of four’s fam trip. It’s located on a main road so you can hear street noise during the day in the front bedroom with the king bed, but the road quiets down in the evening and wasn’t an issue trying to fall asleep (as someone who is relatively sensitive to street noise).

What a cute place! The decor is so cheerful and inviting. We felt right at home while in town to see the redwoods. This place is a gem for those traveling with their pets. My dogs and I loved having a private side yard to stretch in between adventures. Very friendly and proactive hosts! Thanks for having us!

Stephanie was amazing! She helped us with suggestions before we even arrived! The place was exactly as described - small and cozy. Having the small washer and dryer was so helpful for us as we were midway through a long trip. Most of the windows did look out into neighbors spaces, and you could hear cars as they came through the alley outside, but it didn’t bother us. My kid loved the various games and the kitchen was well equipped for making our own meals.

I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a cleaner air bnb! Everything was spotless, the bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, hosts were extremely accommodating of our needs, and we couldn’t have asked for more. 10/10 recommend!

Great place! Exactly as pictured and described. You need to know Eureka to understand the neighborhood. There are some fancier neighborhoods and some working class neighborhoods in the city. I’ve never cared in what type of neighborhood I stay. I just want safe, super clean, quiet, functional, comfortable, as-described, as-pictured, good parking, thoughtful touches, great communication with host, easy instructions, etc. I also don’t want the price of a hotel when I can get a roomier, better place with a kitchen for a better price. Heather’s place absolutely fits the bill! Yes, this neighborhood is not “high end” if you happen to care about that, but it had everything I want - central to everything and 5 star on all the details that matter to me. I absolutely recommend!
