Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Essex

A terrific home we will be happy to visit again. A very clean space, a large bathroom and the best stocked AirBnb kitchen for all of my cooking needs. We loved the patio, BBQ grill and backyard. A truly pet- friendly home. The bed was so comfy and the bedroom in the back was peaceful. Everything in the house worked. We also loved the plants because we have house plants and it makes the space feel like home. Loved the fresh smell in the home, no artificial fragrances; just a clean home! The area is also beautiful with lots of easy access to grocery stores and wineries. LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart and Tim Horton’s within walking distance if you are in a pinch for something. Superhost status well deserved!

Thank you for making us feel welcome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautifully decorated space. The flowers, snacks, water and slippers were a personal touch. Lots of room to spread out and celebrate with family. The location was perfect for getting around Windsor easily. A peaceful oasis close by everywhere you wanted to go.

Olivia’s space was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. It was extremely close to the WFCU where we had a weekend event. Everything was sparkling clean and Olivia was great at responding to our questions. Thank you!

Ebrahim's lodge was peaceful, private and cozy. loved that we could bbq and swing on his bench swing and enjoy the trees and birds. Had all the essentials and AC worked fabulous which was appreciated being in a heatwave. Smart TV a plus and also I love when there is a bath Tub. Ebrahim showed hospitality above and beyond the usual. Would totally stay again and would recommend this property. Thank you from our Family to yours❤

Christina is indeed a super host! She gave very clear instructions and house rules so we had a smooth check in/check out and stay. We appreciated how responsive and accommodating she was in anticipating the variety of ages we’d have in our family, ensuring activities we all could enjoy. We used her local recommendations when we went around town. The beach access was also perfect for us to enjoy some relaxing time together. Definitely would recommend Christina’s lovely home for your stay in Kingsville!

This home was everything I had seen in the description. I was very pleased with the home’s location and amenities. My guest and I loved the walkable area. We visited parks, bakery, bookstore. We attended a coffee roasting experience offered in Air BNB which was amazing at 14th Coffee company, Dutch Boy Chocolate, Colchester Harbor and two wineries. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone. I definitely will return from Kansas. A beautiful experience of Amherstburg. Thank you, Lindsay.

The only down side were the May bugs that invade the general area this time of year that are not something the owners can control. I would love to come back and stay at this property at a different time in the future! The hosts and home were excellent!

Lovely, clean and quiet retreat! The beds and bedding were amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for. So many birds to listen to and many turtles to check out. The binoculars were a fantastic bonus.

Mr. Fred & Sophia r so good to me. they pick me up from the station at midnight & drop me up at the AirB&B place. The place is more clean & quiet the the photo I see online . inshort it's a living home u can enjoy. I don't even think of leaving 😕 I think it will be my home to stay anytime I go to Windsor Ontario Canada. I have a lot to write about the house & the owners.... I really appreciate their likeness, their kindness, their love, their sociality, & their happiness to their guests. I can't compare... they're exordinary people. I really thank them a lot & appreciate them too. they're good people . finally... they're excellentica. 🙏.....

We rented this Air BnB to host the judges we flew in from Great Britain for our recent horse show. They loved everything about their trip and couldn't say enough things about the location of this rental, the amenities and the gorgeous city of Amherstburg. We will absolutely re-book with Jason again. The unit was clean and beautifully furnished.

This place was perfectly located with lots of great restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. The Riverwalk and casino were both situated in the same area. Well worth taking a trip to Canada 🇨🇦. Highly recommended 🤗

Steve & Lisa were great! Nice clean cozy peaceful space to relax and unwind. The beach across street is amazing and great for beach glass I went home with 50lbs!!!! I will definitely be back if I ever need somewhere to stay in Leamington

This home was equipped to house 2 people comfortably. Wall AC unit to make it the right temp to sleep at night. Smart TV and WiFi were in good working order. Parking is available along the other side of the street (parallel parking skills are a plus for a closer spot to the residence) Although I pack everything, I did notice there wasn’t as much “extra” stuff as I normally see when traveling thru Airbnb. I’m not throwing any hate, just as a heads up to others. No extra pillows or blankets (which is great, as it reduced clutter - it worked for us with what was provided), nothing extra in the bathroom. Loved the easy access to the city as I was in town for Brett Young!

House was just as described. Neighborhood was cute, quiet and safe. We didn't use the backyard or laundry area as we spent most of our time away from the house. We couldn't hear the guests upstairs. We did have a hard time with the TV and I wish it was a king size bed but I know it wouldn't fit in that room. I did not use the other room. We enjoyed sitting on the front enclosed porch in the morning while drinking coffee. Although it was provided, I brought my own coffee and cream. I would definitely stay here again.

this place was just perfect for spending time in the city. The folks were fabulous and so quick to respond and help. Hope to stay there again

I booked this stay last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Jeff was extremely accommodating—allowing me to check in early and making everything easy. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and in an excellent Midtown Detroit location. Highly recommend!

Nice apartment in a nice area. Everything in Royal Oak is about a 10/15 min walk. Drive to downtown Detroit is around 15 minutes

We had a great time at the condo! It was clean and the views were awesome. Renting a golf cart through the condo complex ahead of time was easy and convenient. Thanks for a fun stay!

Had a great time, and was perfect for the few days! Alejandro’s place has everything you need for a great stay, Kitchen, lounge area along with a TV, and nice walk in shower. Highly recommend staying here while visiting Detroit!

The location was perfect for what we had going on that weekend, very clean and well kept we loved the little corner store had everything thing possible. I would also say very responsive we arrived a half hour early and he made it possible for us to have access. Will be back next year.
