We stayed for 8 nights here. Every day, we found something new to keep us involved. Kayaking, badminton, cycling, driving the scooty to ride the ferry, sitting on the beach for hours and watching the sunset. There are limited options for vegetarian food around but we found some good places. The host also suggested local places to visit, loaned us his personal scooty to ride around the town, and visited us to show us where everything is kept. It was hot, very hot, there but the place just calmed us down. You can walk on the grass barefoot or enjoy the swings or just watch the birds flying over the lake. The host is very helpful and makes you feel right at home.

If you're looking for a cheap getaway and merge with nature, this place is for you. Mind you the house is small, but the environment makes up for the quaint little place. We felt one with nature and got to experience a vintage era. Overall it was a refreshing and mesmerizing experience.

I stayed at a well-kept property surrounded by dense greenery and tidy landscaping. The meals featured authentic Kerala dishes like appam, stew, puttu, idiyyapam .A barbecue setup was also available on-site, which made evening dinners more enjoyable and hassle-free. The host, was warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with a polite and responsive attitude throughout the stay. This location is ideal for remote workers seeking a quiet space with reliable Wi-Fi or for families wanting a peaceful retreat amid nature.

Very peaceful location, easy to find the place and check-in, unfortunately we didn't had much time to utilise the space, but it's worth staying. only -ve is that the place has no hot water facility

This is hands down the best Airbnb experience we have had. The warmth and affection Viji Chechi showed made us feel like we were staying at a home away from home. By the end of our stay, she felt like one of our family members. Another great thing about this property other than its stunning infrastructure,space and warm host is that it is pet friendly. Would definitely plan another visit soon.

Second time back and still absolutely lush. The place has such a calm, laid-back vibe – proper peaceful. You get cracking views of the sunrise and sunset, and if you’re anything like me and love just parking yourself outside with a cuppa, soaking up those stunning Kerala scenes, it’s spot on. The place looks exactly as in the images, host and chetta works there, both are very good and helpful in keeping us comfortable. the only thing we felt bit annoying is songs played on nearby church all over the night, but that is ok because it almost Christmas time. there is a boat ride at door step unfortunately we didn't took it. give it try if you hosting get-together/ family party/ friends party best place.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment on the 10th floor! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had balconies offering a stunning view. The place was definitely worth the price, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. While WiFi and a few more basic kitchen utensils would have made the stay even better, these were already mentioned as unavailable in the listing, so no surprises there. Overall, a great experience, and I’d love to stay here again!

The property is maintained well and have all the amenities. The road to reach the property is narrow at some places. It's walkable distance from the beach, but far away from the main cherai beach. The pool was quite big enough for a small group of 6. The caretaker was also so attentive and helpful. Only thing we felt not okay was about the water in pool. It felt slimy and our lips tasted little sour after getting out of the pool.

It is an extremely serene and calm place. It was perfect for our family getaway and apt for our occasion. 2 caretakers helped us with everything and were very responsive whenever a need arose. It was a great space.

The stay was comfortable, the host I'd responsive and proactive. The place is well located, however the approach road is narrow but surroundings are nice. The overall stay was comfi and the place is nice and as shown in photos. It was a truly pet friendly place and that made the difference. It was totally great value for money.

Nice and quiet place

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional Kerala house! Our group of friends found the home beautifully maintained, with three spacious AC bedrooms and large, clean bathrooms that made our stay very comfortable. The fully functional kitchen was a big plus. Although the house is located right on the highway, the large compound provided complete privacy and a peaceful environment. One of our favorite spots was the cozy patio in the backyard, shaded by a huge jackfruit tree — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. For the price, this place is honestly the best deal you could find. A special thanks to our host, Romy, who made sure our experience was absolutely perfect and hassle-free. Less than one hour drive from cochin. A lap pool would be a perfect addition.
