Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Ernakulam

There are 3 rooms situated on the 1st floor, I had the chance to get the one with a big balcony facing the main street. It was extremely clean, nice and bright and its windows-doors had very useful mosquito screens. There was a comfortable double bed, a ceiling fan and aircon (really needed during my stay), a small desk and a little suspended ‘cupboard’ for the clothes and a modern beautiful private bathroom. There’s a fridge on the 1st floor that guests can use and of course, an available equipped kitchen. Very well located, the whole apartment is well thought (a recent construction), you notice that Colbridge and his wife Shalini care about their home stay business; they are a good team, pretty well organized working together. Colbridge, the brain of the hospitality services, sent me through whatsapp dozens of information related to history, places to visit and food. He is very knowledgeable (not only about Kochi) and it was good to exchange with him. Besides, he can help you to organize trips, call a tuk tuk and find solutions for your queries. Shalini is the heart of the place… she is welcoming, warm, intelligent and sweet, with a great sense of humour. A gifted cook, she prepares wonder ful breakfasts (Indian, European, American…), tailored to requests. I admired how she cared about guest’s well-being even when she was very busy. Shalini likes to exchange with her hosts and she gave me an unique opportunity to learn more about the culture. She is a very good company too, I will not forget all our laughters and hope to stay with them again. I fully recommend this place for your stay.

It’s a simple stay with basic amenities which is worth the price, Sheeba is very responsive, friendly and upto the point. She also provided us Breakfast without any extra price which is very nice of her and also agreed to a small personal favour. I’d recommend this property to anyone who’s up for a budget friendly and looking for something which is near to prominent places as well!

It’s a humble and cozy stay and worth the nominal price, Nestor was accommodating and non-interfering and always available. The place has a vibe.

Mary Grace and JL were fantastic hosts. We stayed for 3 days and I would fully recommend this place. She made us great breakfast, suggested a few wonderful eating places, arranged taxis and even helped us get our clothes washed. Her husband fixed my and my mother's glasses free of charge. It was a very easy and relaxed atmosphere and we made other friends there as well. Thanks Mary Grace and JL for your hospitality.

Sajeer was extremely friendly. we were stuck in traffic, waiting for a ferry ride to cross the river but due to Christmas influx we had to wait for more than 2.5 hours in queue. Sajeer has been giving directions in the phone what we should be doing and he even offered to bring food for us. When we checked in, he was very friendly, the process was quick and easy. The bfadt served was quite humble, tasty and home cooked. The location is very near to a lot of good places to visit. 100% recommended stay!

A beach front view and quiet room with a terass is awaiting you. We recommand that place for those in search of peace full place.

We had a lovely time here! The location is perfect, walking distance to Fort Kochi and good food in the neighborhood too. There also is a rooftop where you can sit. Would recommend this airbnb!

Joseph and his wife Nimy were so warm, friendly, helpful and attentive. They have a wonderful building that is quiet ( by urban India standards), yet 2 blocks from the center of Fort Cochin. There are about 10 rooms catering to a diverse international group of guests, Indians included. During our stay the people were fascinating - women in business, India’s top stand up comedian, a retired United Nations lawyer, a trainer teaching local women how to start their own small businesses, and a retired international development professional on a world jaunt. The morning breakfast was the best I’ve eaten at an Airbnb- wonderful fruit, fresh blended fruit juice, yogurt, cereal, a savory hot Indian dish, native blue pea tea, and more, all served on a covered rooftop. It is also close to the Biennale main venues. They were very helpful in arranging an interesting canoe trip in the backwaters, alerted us to a Puja, and helped with arranging transportation as needed. Fair price, good people.

What a beautiful Place!! We were so taken with the amazing space! We rested, drank tea, ate homely food and enjoyed the incredible ambience that is this home. What a wonderful last day spent close to the airport but a feeling of total peace. Probably one of the most immaculate Airbnb’s that we have ever stayed in. And we have stayed in many! We would Definitely come and stay again. Wow!

Margaret was super friendly and really thoughtful. She had a recommendation for everything,helped us to avoid getting over priced for things, made us feel really at home and made the stay very memorable. She's also a great cook so the days started and finished well each time. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Only thing to note is the address on here is the main road from which hers is down a side road so message before you arrive.

Joseph was a great host, not only we engaged in long conversations across topics but came to understand common interests that helped me learn a lot in such a short time. He and his wife went all the way to make my stay comfortable especially the organic eggs were too good in the morning. The place itself was so convenient for me to commute back and forth to my conference that I couldn’t ask for more. Great stay overall

Great experience for following reasons 1. Brand new facility, clean, green and hygienic environment 2. Located close to airport, in rural Kerala but with all facilities, easy access to Kochi town, and all the close by tourist attractions. 3. Great local home made food, host has great local tips to make your time there worthwhile 4. Overall good bang for the buck.

I am overwhelmed with the hospitality and cleanness of Mr Naresh place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cochin or Karela for that matter. He’s place is a good base to stay and discover the rest of the state.

Great rooms with balcony and peaceful environment .The breakfast was delicious .rooms and bathrooms were well maintained and clean.the owners were very friendly and nice. Definitely coming back again.

Basil's family are sooo nice! They are kind and friendly. They teached me kerala's life. big farm is good to learn spice and plants. the room is very very clean. They served different breakfast everyday. FORT COCHIN is little far,but I didn't feel inconvenience. They have many fantastic experience. what a comfortable stay!

We stayed at this beautiful place for days when we were travelling in Kerala. The house is nested up next to the beach in a very peaceful location. This homestay is hosted by a couple who were always on their toes to help during the stay. Welcome drink was a nice gesture and delicious breakfast was complimentary. All I have to say is that, the stay was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay close to Marai beach. Thanks for hosting us!

Sinu’s place was spectacular. As a host he is very responsive and great at communicating. He gives a-lot of time and effort in attending the guests personally which is impressive and important when you come for an experience in an offbeat place like this amazing beach place. Was able to do a-lot of activities learnt a-lot about the place because of him. The property stands out, neat clean and easy to reach. The cooks there is a gem and the staff is so helpful and friendly Overall worth every single penny!

It's a nice new house. Very neat and clean. Host stays in the ground floor and all the three rooms are on the first floor. There is spacious living room and balcony in the front and back, both with scenic views. Vijeesh is a good host who is always available on call and very helpful. He also offers tasty home made food at an additional but nominal charge. This place is highly recommendable and we will love to come back again in the future.
