In a cottage on the shore of a steamy woman, you get to spend a vacation with a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Preparing food with an Airfryer, in the microwave, or on the patio using a gas grill. Drinking water can be obtained directly from the kitchen faucet. Guests have access to the entire cabin, which includes sleeping accommodations for two, a sauna, a toilet, and a small kitchen. This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the shore of the lake. Carved from thick logs, the cabin exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the place has the special feature of the cowbell ringing in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

True Finnish cottage experience by Lake Saimaa

Experience the traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

By the waters of Kalainen, the historic ferry house delights in Savonranta by the Oriväri river connecting Paasvesi and Pyyvesi. The house has been completely renovated and the environment restored to its new splendor. The property has two kayaks, a rowboat and the possibility to rent a tub (in summer) and a motorboat, as well as fishing guide services! Our company's professional fishing uses the jetty at the cottage, so the fish are transported through the jetty.
