Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm manner. The place is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in every corner. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, extraordinary and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area and watched the cats and ducks and listened to the pouring rain. The Baldeneysee is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment. The fenced garden was ideal for our dogs, who also enjoyed the walks by the nearby water. Everything was tip top clean and nicely decorated - you noticed that someone made an effort. The surroundings are amazing and you can quickly reach all the interesting places in the Ruhr area.
