Unser Hüsli liegt inmitten der Natur, ruhig und am Alpstein-Wanderweg Im Garten befindet sich eine gemütliche Sitzlounge, eine grosse Feuerstelle und die Gartendusche zur Abkühlung. Die herrliche Aussicht und das Alpen-Feeling lassen sich besonders gut vom Bänkli auf dem Vorplatz geniessen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem alten Bauernhaus von 1850. Hallau liegt ländlich an der Deutschen Grenze zwischen Schwarzwald und Bodensee. Es fahren öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, ein Auto ist jedoch von Vorteil. In zwei Gehminuten können Busstation, Lebensmittelladen, Bäcker und Bank erreicht werden. Wir sind kinderfreundlich und Nichtraucher. Ich betreibe eine Entenzucht. Die Enten befinden sich in einem der zwei Gärten.

Das Haus liegt in einer weitläufig bebauten Streusiedlung, die Entfernung zum nächstgelegenen Haus beträgt ca. 50 Meter. Außer den Gästen wohne ich als Gastgeber im Haus, die fest vermietete Wohnung im Dachgeschoss hat einen separaten Eingang von außen. Der Gästezugang befindet sich im Erdgeschoss. Ich als Gastgeber benutze den extra Eingang im Kellergeschoss.
