Don’t let my old soul fool you, I was recently given a makeover by my owners. I still contain many of my original characteristics, but I now have a slight modern touch. Amanda and Chris were absolutely amazing hosts! Honestly, this was the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at—it truly felt like a home away from home. The setting was incredibly peaceful, with stunning views of the Louisiana swamplands that made it all the more special. The place was so comfortable that even though we only stayed for one night, we easily could've settled in for a week. I didn't get a chance to go fishing, but they had everything you could possibly need for it—tons of gear, a fish cleaning station, and all the cooking essentials. This place is a real gem!

The house had everything we needed and offered beautiful views. The restrooms were clean, and the yard was very relaxing and private—perfect for some quiet downtime. We especially enjoyed drinking coffee while sitting out on the back patio. There was more than enough parking, which made things super convenient. Cassandra was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. She even recommended a few great spots for brunch. The ferry is also nearby if you’re looking for a quicker way to get into New Orleans. Overall, a great experience—highly recommend!

When you are fishing or hunting in Venice every minute counts... having the boat in the water just a few steps from your bed puts you first in line to buy bait & first to the fishing spot! After you've caught your limit, skip the wait at the marina cleaning table, mark has got a private cleaning table & ice machine on the pier to make it that much easier for you! The houseboat was clean, comfortable and made our fishing trip a breeze! Plenty of linens, ice cold A/C & comfortable beds made our sleep a 10/10. I have stay in many motels, hotels and other Airbnb's in Venice but I will definitely be back to this one!
