Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

Gabriella and the property are both lovely. It is well located in a very walkable city. The food in Bologna was amazing, including the fresh home made breakfast prepared each morning by Gabriella. Very responsive to messages, and easy to find. Great recommendations of things to see, places to eat and even talked them them through with a map to help us out. The parking was nice and easy, and the appartment was very cool, and. also had air-conditioning just in case!

We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is fantastic. Great bars and restaurants all within 10 min walking distance. There is a bar right below but never heard any noise while we were there. Luca was great in making suggestions, answered all my questions and also helped us reserve a taxi at 4:15am. Overall a great stay and great host. Will certainly stay here again.

Bij binnenkomst van de accommodatie kregen wij een zeer hartelijk welkom in een zeer rustgevende omgeving! De zoon van host hielp ons met het tillen van onze bagage naar het huisje. Prachtig appartement, een fantastisch terras met een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen! Vanaf ‘s morgens tot ‘s avonds zon. Leuk adres gekregen van een local restaurantje in het dorpje. Dit was ook een gouden tip qua gemoedelijkheid, sfeer en hun heerlijke gerechten! Dank Maria Elana wij komen terug!!!

A beautiful place to stay, very clean and Violetta is a gracious host. She provided excellent information about the local area. My mother was raised in Firenze, so we came many times to visit the family. I picked her place because it was close to where my last Italian family lives. And it's far enough from the touristy Firenze to me beautiful and quiet. Violetta even helped me find info on my cousin. What a beautiful stay! Come and enjoy this beautiful Tuscan hillside area!

Nydelig klassisk leilighet med alle fasiliteter og en vert som svarer raskt på spørsmål man måtte ha! Eneste å bemerke er en del fra gaten utenfor når man har dør/ vindu åpent og ganske varmt tross bruk av aircondition. Likevel et fantastisk opphold vi vil anbefale videre! Vi kommer tilbake😊

La piscine et la climatisation dans tout le logement offre un confort idéal pour profiter du soleil sans souffrir de la chaleur 😊 La localisation permet de visiter, en voiture, beaucoup de sites Toscans et d'apprécier cette belle région. Fuimos a pasar un fin de semana en familia y no pudimos elegir un mejor alojamiento ya que contaba con todas las comodidades que necesitábamos: desde aparatos de aire acondicionado en todas las estancias para los días de calor que estuvimos allí, hasta una cuna y una trona para el bebé que venía con nosotros. Además, está cerca de la estación de tren, lo que nos permitió tener muy a mano visitar otras ciudades cercanas como Florencia. La atención recibida por Monica y sus coanfitriones fue magnífica.

Die Kommunikation mit Marcella war top, sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, mit dem Bus schnell vom Bahnhof erreichbar und man ist zu Fuß sofort in der Innenstadt. Wir waren am Wochenende in Bologna und dadurch war es nachts von der Straße sehr laut, aber das gehört dazu, wenn man so zentral ist. Von Sonntag auf Montag war es deutlich ruhiger und bei geschlossenem Fenster hörte man fast gar nichts. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten ☺️

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Having an elevator was a blessing on days we were exhausted and air conditioning in every room meant we didn’t have to melt the few days we had really hot weather. Location is super convenient with the Mercato Centrale, Firenze SMN station, and the Medici chapel just around the corner from us. The grocery store downstairs was well stocked and there’s also a dollar store, pharmacy, and gym nearby.
