We are located in a row of terraced farm cottages just inland from Embleton, a perfect base for exploring beautiful Northumberland. Ideally located in the centre of Alnmouth just a 5 minute walk from the beach, golf course and lots of walking and cycling tracks. The ‘Sun Cottage’ as it is affectionately known has recently had a modern makeover. With a south facing entrance and terrace guests can enjoy a drink in the sun well into the afternoon. Guests have sole access to the entire property including the adjoining garage which can be used for storage. Alnmouth offers an amazing selection of pubs, bars and restaurants.

Poppy Cottage sleeps 4 plus cot in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both bedrooms are upstairs. Family bathroom with bath and over bath shower, the bathroom has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Downstairs there is an open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room. Small enclosed gated patio/garden to the front of the property.

It is a light open and airy property decorated in a coastal theme. The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.
