Great stay! It was worth every penny! Can’t wait to return in the future!

This was the perfect little cabin for a weekend stay, private setting with beautiful scenery. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Cabin itself was spotless, comfortable and peaceful. One thing I would tell future guests if they are like me, and not used to steep hills for a driveway on gravel is that if you slow down pulling in, it makes you feel like you're going to be stuck and tires spin. Most people probably know that, I however did not and it has nothing to do with the host, or my experience. Just a city girl in a country world. 🙃 Everything was perfect!

I stay in a lot of airbnbs when I travel. This is by far my favorite. It had the original hardwood floors, but everything else was updated to accommodate my needs. It was in a neighborhood, but it was very quiet. You could hear the birds sing. I hope it's available the next time I come through town.

We loved this little home!! It was perfect for our family. The host was super helpful and had a list of local restaurants and things to do. The place was cleaned and had anything we needed during our stay. I would recommend place to anyone.

Chimene's house was absolutely AWESOME! She has done a supreme job of selecting the decor and made it feel very homely! It's roughly 8-10 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway, and about the same to various restaurants, grocery stores, gas, and anything we could have possibly needed during our stay! she thought of everything, including lots of really nice towels in the bathroom, mattresses and bedding, and the kitchen is fully equipped as well! It's really welcoming to drive onto the property and see a bunch of goats and a couple of super sweet dogs that were more like huge Teddy Bears! The country setting is awesome and privacy is perfect! The couch was perfect to watch TV from and the whole place was very clean! We highly recommend Chmene's place! It deserves a 6 star rating it they offered it! Thanks, Jeff and Jennifer!

This place was just what the Dr. ordered. We visited the area for a long weekend to get in some hiking and visit Johnson City and ETSU. This was by far the best "pet friendly" rental we have ever stayed at. The fenced in dog run was awesome for our two dogs and so convenient to the master suite. The rental itself was so clean you wouldn't have even thought it allowed pets. The 3br/2bth set up was perfect for our family of 4 (inc. 2 teenagers). The best part about this place is the rushing creek/little river right in front of the house. Morning coffee just feels elevated sitting next to the water. There is a great waterfall hike just 10min from the house (Laurel Falls). Make sure you stop by the Appalachian Coffee Cupboard afterwards for a coffee shake. All in all, if either of our kids attends ETSU, this will be our permanent basecamp when visiting.

This was a beautiful house, very clean and homey. The area was absolutely gorgeous. Check in went smoothly. Host was very quick to respond with anything that needed addressing. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Absolute perfection. My only recommendation is for guests to bring a sleep mask if you like it dark. The beautiful wooden shutters don’t keep out all of the morning light. Everything about this home was beautiful. I cannot recommend this home enough.

It is very cozy for a short stay. It is about 14 minutes to Grandfather Mountain. Great communicating with Amy prior arrival, she greeted us at the entrance.

I rented this apartment for my daughter and grandson who were visiting for a baseball tournament the place was clean my daughter said she felt safe and enjoyed there time at fox den. Will definitely stay here again. Christy was a great host and very attentive thanks for having a great safe clean space for them to enjoy this past weekend

Warren’s place was great for us and we had everything we needed. A beautiful location, very relaxing. Next time we are bringing the s’mores supplies!

Johnny’s place offered everything I needed and more for a night. It’s easy to walk into and around the little town Banner Elk, but it also has beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Johnny and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my visit!

Quiet apartment over the detached garage. Beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. Close to the cute downtown area and easy to access with any vehicle. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, and clean linens. Would certainly stay again.

I have stayed at this Airbnb numerous times while working in Johnson City. It is a good location, walkable to downtown, and close to campus, hospitals and the Tweetsie trail. It is clean and comfortable with good amenities and has actually gotten better and better with time! Catherine is a helpful and responsive host. Highly recommended.

Wonderful home to stay in! it is way bigger than we expected and was perfect after a long day of travel to relax in. Both bedrooms are very comfortable. Cheryl was wonderful and very accommodating for us!

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

I had a wonderful stay and a wait to come back ! The place was very cute and quaint, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the views alone made it worth the trip. The location was perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. Being able to soak in the hot tub and use the sauna after all day hiking was fabulous. My host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

This is my third stay at Hunter’s Airbnb and I’ve really enjoyed each trip! The condo is spotlessly clean and very airy, and has a stunning view out the large front windows. It’s well set up, with a surprising amount of room for stashing your stuff. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and I loved taking walks there. There are also lots of hiking trails very close by, although a few are currently still closed due to damage from Helene. The internet is very fast and dependable, which is not always the case at Beech Mountain. I’ve used my stays as a writing retreat and always get a shocking amount done, while soaking in the lovely atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Great place

Thoughtful touches! From little signs with helpful info to ear plugs provided to lovely linens on the bed! This is our second stay here. It feels like you are miles away from the noise of civilization but it only a few minutes up Sugar. So, you have the babbling stream rushing over the rocks out back to listen to, but can get to Food Lion or restaurants in just a few minutes.
