Greetings Airbnb fans! Happy Spring! Here is our family's wonderful riverfront cottage, ready and waiting. A two bedroom 750 sqft house with 1 bathroom on just under an acre property. A special place to relax, do some fishing, grilling, and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Located in a secluded unincorporated Fox River neighborhood in Kane County just a half mile from Blackhawk waterfall via bike path. The subdivision is hidden between the Jon J. Duerr and Blackhawk forest preserves.

Cozy private suite in the lower level. Guests have the suite to themselves. The bathroom is adjacent to the room and is private. There is a small fridge, a coffee maker, and a microwave oven. We are in Geneva, Illinois. We are LGBTQ+friendly. Our space is ideal for shorter stays and visitors on the go . Not suitable for staycations. Quiet area. Hosts live on the upper level and guests pass through our space to get to the suite. In a bind we can accommodate a 3rd guest and a pet. Welcome.

Welcome to our cozy little corner of the world! We are located just a few blocks east of downtown St. Charles & the gorgeous Fox River and about an hour's drive/train ride to downtown Chicago. You’ll be staying in a renovated studio basement space (which doesn’t feel like a basement at all). It’s a completely separate space with its own entrance & electronic keypad. The Coach House is located behind our house. It is a private and separate little house. It is located close to the river path and lots of restaurants. The upstairs is one big room that has 1 queen and 2 twin beds. The upstairs also has a full bath. The TV in main living area on first floor is not hooked up to cable, but you can log into all of your apps and have access to news via YouTube TV, Netflix, Prime etc.

Beautiful view! The house was cute and clean and very comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice! Also, the Fox River Trail is right out the back door. It’s great for walking, biking or running along the river.

St. Charles Riverview Retreat

Melanie was an excellent hostess. She provided very useful information about the temporary closure of part of the Fox river trail. In addition she told us how to circumnavigate that closure. This was really great information as we had planned bike rides and with her info we had no problem at all. Enjoyed the towns along the river with numerous restaurants and museums and we even got to use outstanding outdoor public pickleball courts that were near by. This house is in a truly fantastic location and we can’t thank Melanie enough for offering up her house. With any luck it will be available for a return trip next spring.

Nice little place in the perfect location for downtown Sycamore. Easy walk to anywhere downtown. Steps from multiple bars. Easy to follow directions from hosts to find the parking spot and the apartment. The lack of any hotels near downtown makes this place a good value based on supply and demand.

Eric’s place was perfect in every way. Location, cleanliness, roomy. Our son thought the bed was a bit too firm for him but he loved the pillows and the sectional in the living room. We were all very comfortable and loved the interior design. Best location for walking to all the local restaurants and shops. We definitely would recommend the Yates Loft.

Rocio’s place was absolutely perfect! The space was spotless, beautifully updated, and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. It was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. The location is close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. The fenced backyard was a great bonus for privacy. The hosts were very responsive and clearly care about their guests’ comfort.
