Vacation rentals with lake access in Elaphiti Islands

This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The beautiful house and gorgeous, serene setting made this a place a dream to relax. And Marko’s hospitality and attention to detail really made this a special getaway vacation. The house was spotless, the pool pristine, and the beds and other furniture were comfy. We really hope we can return soon. We highly recommend!

perfect get-away tucked in the mountains above Trebinje. for those who really want to rest, read some books and enjoy the unspoilt nature of Bosnia-Hercegovina. the house is about a half hour driving from Trebinje city, so remember tot bring provisions.

We really enjoyed our five night stay at Ružica's home! We felt very welcomed on arrival by personal touches from Ružica and her daughter. Our three boys (12, 10 and 4) loved being right next to the water, with the use of a kayak and paddleboard. Spending time on the lake in the morning & evenings made our stay really memorable and relaxing. The apartment has everything you need with special touches such as comfortable beds, dishwasher and lots of toys for the kids. It is quiet, feels away from the main tourist area, is an extremely family- friendly option and a really nice space to come back to at the end of the day. We did day trips to beautiful beaches and also visited Dubrovnik which we highly recommend, even with 3 kids in tow! Thank you again Ružica! Rebecca, David & the boys

Sanja was a great hostess to us. So polite and nice. She made sure we were well looked after. The house was great. Had everything we needed plus a lot more. We would definitely go back again.

Villa Pcela is outstanding in every way. The villa itself is perfect for large groups, with each double bedroom having its own en-suite, and the upper terrace and dining area with plenty of space to eat and cook together. We will miss watching the sun rise every morning over the mountains to the sound of the local cockerel crowing. The villa is well located to visit Tivat and Kotor, and hiring a car was really helpful to visit Lake Skadar for birdwatching and Budva ( Sally recommended Pavel for car hire and we can confirm he was really helpful and reasonably priced). The cable cars and speed boat trip to the blue caves were amazing.

Mario and his family are great, warm and welcoming hosts! We felt like at home! The apartment is great, gorgeous terrace behind, unexpected and way much better then in the pictures! All the rest is as described, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Note there are no mosquito nets, get prepared for alternative defense. We would decinitely recommend :) and come back!

Absolutely perfect in every way a stunning place to stay so much space to chill inside and out everything you need is there which is a first for us . And the cleanest place we have stayed too . Unexpected gifts of wine and chocolates and meat and cheese too . We had kayaks so was brilliant to launch them from the one minute walk from the private lake access. Marijana so friendly and professional explained everything in five minutes to us without feeling rushed . This is a genuine honest review and can’t recommend it highly enough . This apartment was perfect for my trip. It was spacious and bright. Had a lovely garden area to sit outside. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Shower was great. I really enjoyed my stay.

The apartment was excellent and just as in the photos. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The sea view was lovely. We felt very welcomed when entering the apartment. Nikolina had left a nice note with some chocolate for us. Nikolina also provided good instructions how to get to the apartment and responded to messages very quicky. We really enjoyed our stay. Aleksandar's Penthouse was beautiful, everything you needed was provided, the AC was amazing! SUPER clean, the photos do not portray the beauty and size enough. We were pleasantly surprised with the comfort and amenities. Janss was super to deal with. The deck was large and comfortable. It was a great location, plenty of towels, close to markets, restaurants, beaches. Great place to stay. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. We were there for my daughter's wedding, and it was just so perfect and photographed beautifully. Thank you!

The welcome we received was excellent, our hosts waited for us very late in the evening because of the delay of our plane. The apartment is very clean and well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable and the view of the water is beautiful. Fruit and drinks were waiting for us in the fridge on arrival. We highly recommend this place.

Nena was very responsive and helpful and went well beyond expectations to make our stay incredible. Loved Zavalatica! Two great restaurants to suit any budget. Very friendly people and close to some great wineries. Already planning our next trip! Thanks again Nena!

This apartment is large and well appointed. One could stay here easily for a week or more. Loved the location! Roko was an amazing host. We hope to see him again.

We had a wonderful stay at Anamarija’s home. We were greeted at the port by her partner and shown around the property. It had everything we needed and more (such as bikes)! The property is charming and peaceful. The closest restaurant is a woodland 10 min walk and right on the lake. Other than that you’re quite far away, unless you have a car. But we loved the remoteness. Bathroom was spacious and clean, bedroom comfortable and kitchen superb. A wonderful place.

Wonderful stay in a small, but clean and well-stocked apartment. Location on top of hill with beautiful views. No services immediately nearby, but e-bike-able to town (Pomena). Hosts were outstanding - always responsive, helped arrange transportation, answered questions. Would very happily stay there again on return to magnificent Mljet!!

Toni’s place is nice and cozy, very clean and well equipped. We needed a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and we found everything we wanted to use. It made our staying way more easier. The terrace is wonderful with a beautiful view to the lake, we loved it so much! Toni was very helpful and communicative all the time during our staying and before, when I had some important questions. He waited us with cake, which was really heartwarming after a long drive. Mljet is a really special place, if you like nature and active vacation.

Best Vacation Ever!!!! We were enchanted from the moment we drove up to this Adriatic Treasure! I almost hesitate to describe it for fear that all days will be filled immediately and we won’t have a chance to return soon enough! The white pristine marble walkways and terrace provided access to the cold crystal clear water on three sides. The large outdoor area always provided a place of sun or shade throughout the day. Our grandchildren loved playing on the two paddle boards and exploring the outdoors. The AC inside offered an immediate respite when we stepped inside the cool white interior of the home. A treat of food and beverages awaited to our surprise. Totally unexpected! Marko was the perfect host, offering site recommendations including reservations at the scrumptious Sudvic Restaurant nearby. Seafood plucked right from the waters beside it! We are making plans now to try to return to this amazing magical paradise. You should book your vacation here now! You will not regret it!
