Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Elaphiti Islands

We had the most lovely stay at Gjivo's, in great part due to our host's exemplary graciousness and helpfulness. We felt totally comfortable in his beautiful home..... the breakfasts he served us were delicious, our room was well appointed, the mattress and linens comfy, and the bathroom immaculate with great water pressure. Best of all, the gorgeous view from our window of the ocean and the old fort. Also, we appreciated how close we were to the old town, dining, shopping, easy access to tours and transportation. Gjivo and his staff were absolutely wonderful in every way. We really felt that this place sets a high example of how the best accommodations should be. The property was so authentic and reminds you of the true beauty and history of Dubrovnik. The setting is peaceful with access to lovely private gardens with a view down towards the water and Pile Gate. It’s so conveniently located for a quick stroll in minutes right through Pile Gate into the Old City. After a full day exploring Dubrovnik, it’s so nice to retreat to this quiet, safe, clean, well maintained and peaceful spot. Gjivo is a humble gentleman yet has vast knowledge of the Croatian culture and will generously share valuable insights for a rewarding stay. Gjivo’s family represent true local Croatian culture at its finest while offering a 5 star experience in every way! We plan on returning to Dubrovnik soon and have already rebooked with Gjivo. Bravo to Gjivo, Marina and the entire staff!

This was a truly exceptional experience. Not only was this great value for money, the location could have not been better. The service was second to none and the hospitality of the family who run the guest house was incredible. The food was outstanding - you get the option of breakfast, half board or full board. You'll be served freshly cooked meals throughout the day on a terrace overlooking the sea. This was incredible and words don't do justice - you need to see for yourself. The place is rather remote, so you need to have access to a car to get to the closest town (Slano) where you'll find a little supermarket and buses going to Dubrovnik which is only 33km away. As I don't drive, the family was nice enough to drive me into Slano a couple of times to get buses from there to a tour I signed up for. They even gave me a lift to Dubrovnik which was just great and I am so grateful for their hospitality. I can't recommend this place enough - I will sure be back next year. Thank you all for making this stay something very special.

We’ve had a wonderful time. The apartment is just close to the ocean located. From the terrace you will have a wonderful view. The room is well equipped and the host was always available to help or answer questions.

I had a fantastic stay at these apartments! Check-in was a breeze, and the place was stunningly beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and it was so convenient to just walk down to the beach. The pool was wonderful and added to the overall experience. The only slight downside was the presence of mosquitoes in the apartment, but the repellent worked well to manage this issue. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

We had very great time at Kristian and nina's place. Communication was good and Kristian answered very fast to our message. We had a warm welcome and good explanation about the B&B from Nina, who also made our room more convenient. The bedroom is nice and well decorated. And the breakfast was amazing. We were feeling at home, so it was good very experience.

The place is greart value for money. You get what you pay. Clean room, sheets, towels and bathroom. Nothing fancy, the bar is below. Place for locals, great rakija (travarica) and coffee and cheap.

A top location! A nice apartment in a superb location near Dubrovnik. The room is upstairs a restaurant on a bay with crystal clear blue water. The apartment was sparkling clean and tidy, no sign of it! The beds slept well, we slept well. The welcome by Ivan was pleasant, he is very friendly and wanted to help us with everything. We were happy with the baby bed so our daughter could also sleep well. Breakfast is in the restaurant under the apartment overlooking the bay. A plus! It is advisable to arrive by (rental)car or a taxi. Uber works well between Dubrovnik and the apartment. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely book again.

It is not a single room, it is an independent room with kitchen and bathroom. much better as it is shown in the photos. Ivana was very nice and she can speak Spanish.

We had a very nice stay. The apartment was big and had everything we needed. When we had questions they immediately helped us out. Breakfast was included, however this was no buffet, it was simple but with chocolate croissants and an egg. So it was a nice extra! Bus stop was a short walk and took us to the center of Dubrovnik in around 30min.

A great way to end our trip to Croatia. Alda and Drago were wonderful hosts. They had wonderful recommendations for the area, and their breakfasts were fantastic. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and in a great location. Orebić is beautiful with plenty to do, and an inexpensive, convenient ferry ride to old town Korcula. Absolutely recommend.

The space was really nice and they were great hosts, made us feel comfortable and at home. We'd be happy to stay there again.

Andrea & Mislav are very kind and helpful. apartment was clean, very neat and stylishly decorated. parking was difficult for a while but Mislav rode well to explain where that was. (behind the property under a car gate). if you are looking for a beautiful apartment near the beach and centrally located, I would not hesitate.

We were very well acquired in this house, the remarkable support, the panoramic view from our very well arranged room, the caring owners. I would highly recommend it.

This place was fantastic. We booked this last minute and thrilled we did. The apartment was absolutely spotless, it was like it was finished yesterday. The hosts were brilliant, recommended places to eat and provided a map of where we needed to go to for our nighttime activity. The mini fridge had a couple of drinks in that were loaded free of charge which was a very nice touch as in hotels this is a different story. Bed was absolute heaven, extremely comfy and felt right at home. Was gutted we couldn’t do more nights here. I could not recommend this apartment enough. Perfect in every aspect.
