Centrally located between Swiss alps and german black forrest. You can quickly reach to most destinations in balck forrest, swiss alps or large cities like freiburg (90 km), Zürich (45 km) and Basel (25 km). The appartment is equally great and centrally located if you want to stay back and enjoy the small town of Bad Säckingen and surroundings.

My place is close to forest, meadows, pond, ice rink, ski lift, indoor pool with sauna. You'll love my place because of the coziness, wooden floors, Feng Shui bed 160 × 200, bathtub, shower. Smoke, geopathy, electromagnetic pollution and perfume-free! My place is good for nature-loving couples, hikers, cyclists, skiers, non-smokers, vegetarians, "healthy" and convalescent people, but not for smokers, animals, and the searing of meat is also not desired.

I call this little home "Tetto Piccolo." It is a 40 m² apartment. Behind the house is a small playground. Next door is the physiotherapy school and the Rhine Jura Clinic. The thermal bath is also within 3 minutes' walk. The Swiss border is also very close. The quiet location close to the mountain lake and a beautiful view of Switzerland invite you to relax. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a tourist tax of €2.5/day/person to be paid.

Comfort meets nature

Received a warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation felt very cozy from entrance immediately. Location was ideal for exploring the black forest and even the Swiss alps by car. Surrounding was very pretty with also a bunch of nature/trails to explore in a close vicinity. Everything in the accommodation was fresh and clean. Living room nicely finished and comfortable. Kitchen had all appliances we needed to prepare a nice proper evening meal. Bathroom is practical but complete. Bedroom is spacious and beds were not too hard, nor too soft. Complete appartement is fit with roller shutters and the terrace in front had a very nice view. All practicalities aside, Irene and her husband were extremely welcoming and really put in their effort to make it all as comfortable as possible while staying there. We were even offered to go with her for a walk on one of her favourite trails nearby. Also, not to be forgotten to mention, they harvest their own very delicious honey. 10/10

We are a family with 2 children and enjoyed the spacious and very nice apartment to the fullest. The flat is extremely well located. After our excursions in the beautiful region, we found peace and quiet in the apartment and were able to relax excellently. The apartment is very tastefully furnished.

The living area features a comfortable seating arrangement, including two armchairs and a sofa. A wooden coffee table is positioned in front, with a patterned area rug underneath. Natural light enters through two windows adorned with lace curtains, enhancing the cozy atmosphere.

The place had a charming, cozy retro style and was spotlessly clean at the same time. Everything was in very good condition, so you could feel right at home. The large garden was a real highlight for our dog. Although there is street noise from the nearby main road, you don't hear it inside. Overall a wonderful stay with lots of character and a very nice hostess.

A modern bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower area, separated by a glass partition. Neutral-colored tiles are used on the floor and walls, contributing to a clean and spacious feel. Soft lighting enhances visibility in this well-appointed space.

Border paradise between thermal baths and lake

We had a wonderful week in this modern holiday apartment! The accommodation is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the spacious bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen – perfect for preparing breakfast, pizza, or pasta with tomato sauce. In the evenings, we enjoyed our meals on the terrace and ended the day in a peaceful atmosphere. The location is ideal – a perfect starting point for hikes in the surrounding area. Bad Säckingen is within easy walking distance, and by train, you can quickly and easily reach Basel, Schaffhausen (Rhine Falls), or even Lake Constance. The host was always available and very helpful – we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We’d love to come back!
