We are renting a quiet, bright 21/2 room ground floor apartment (75 m²) with a separate entrance in Berg am Irchel, in the Zurich wine country. Winterthur, Schaffhausen, Zurich and the airport can be reached in 30-40 minutes by car. 60 minutes to Zurich by bus and train. The bus station is in the village within walking distance. The apartment and the surroundings are very child-friendly. Your children will find plenty of space to play on our farm. You will stay on the edge of the village on a farm surrounded by fruit trees.

Nice accommodation to stay in for e.g. on transit. On the morning of departure, you can still visit the Rein waterfalls. This is less than a 10-minute drive. Within walking distance are two supermarkets, a drugstore and all nice eateries. Clean and tidy room. Clear instructions to get inside. Lovely quiet area.

The attention to detail... A very charming apartment renovated with a lot of love for detail and very tastefully decorated. Dorine personally welcomed us and showed us everything. The refrigerator was already filled, so we did not lack fresh bread or milk - thank you very much! We were able to spend a few really nice days in Marthalen, in which Dorine and Patrick as great hosts played a significant role. Thank you for everything, we had a great time with you!

AMAZING stay. Bernhardt was attentive and helpful when needed, and also left us to enjoy the stay. I appreciate his recommendations for a car repair and restaurant to help us after a long drive and getting in late. The deck immediately on the lake is the highlight - heated pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, sun loungers and steps directly into the lake. Paddle boards were available. The private driveway cannot be taken for granted, this place gives privacy and a quick drive to town. You can enjoy the amenities and views of the area without leaving home if you like! Or, get out for an amazing adventure. Entertaining bird watching! This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

I cannot say enough good things about Ramon, Doreen, Thilo and their two k cats Yumi and Orion. The hosts were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We felt right at home. The house and the views are absolutely beautiful. The cats were super fun and cute. They live near a train station, getting around was super easy. We would definitely come back to stay with them.
