Nearest restaurant is 10 min away (walk). Families are welcome. Nearest bus station is 5 min walk. 6min drive to the lake. Ski stations, hiking possibilities (flumserberg or braunwald) are around 1 hour away by car. Pets not allowed.

Das Apartment liegt unmittelbar an der Hauptstrasse in Herrliberg, zu Fuss nur etwa 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof Herrliberg-Feldmeilen entfernt. Gleich neben an befindet sich ein Coop Supermarkt. Herrliberg ist eine ruhige Wohngemeinde, welche sich an der Sonnenseite des Zürichsee befindet. Mit dem Zug hat man bis in die Stadt nur rund 17 Minuten. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet um hier eine angenehme Zeit zu verbringen. Bei weiteren Fragen können Sie sich gerne bei mir melden.

Cozy 2-room apartment near Zurich

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

The connection to public transport is very good, so that especially the cities of Zurich, Zug and Lucerne can be reached quickly. I love this place so much. I did not want to leave! The view was absolutely stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful. Maria-Theresia was so nice. She helped me a lot with checking in since I was traveling by myself and I’ve never been to Switzerland before. Also the transportation was really easy from the airport on the bus. Maria-Theresia also helped me with getting there as well and sent me different options. She responded so quickly and helped me feel more at ease since I was a little nervous never have been anywhere in the area before . I highly recommend staying here.!

Donald is the best host I have ever stayed with. After 2 months we became good friends. He is friendly, helpful and cheerful but tactful, non-intrusive and quiet. He will always explain everything and come to an understanding. His wonderful son is unobtrusive, polite and falls asleep early (like a rock!). The room has basic furnishings, you can use the rest of the shared flat on a nice cohabitation basis. Washer and dryer free of charge (!!). The kitchen is well equipped. Lovely garden for relaxation. Lift, nice view from the window, birds singing. The flat is sat near Zurich (25 min by bus from the centre, it's not a big city 😉 ), in a quiet little village. Close to wonderful walks in the forest. Shops within 1 bus stop away. If you match the conditions in the ad, you won't find a better offer. And it's really worth getting to know this man - lots of stories, tons of positive energy, pure kindness. Thank you, Donald!

The location is beautiful, tucked in a hillside of Weggis, the host offered pickup and drop which was very useful because it’s a little far from the ferry stop. But it’s worth the view and location. They also offer fresh breakfast to start off the day or a hike which is great especially in a place like Weggis.
