Hof von Donnerschwee / Helene apartment

The Donnerschwee farm, first mentioned in 1937 and later built, is located in the northeast of the city of Oldenburg and was the first settlement house on the square. The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The surroundings impress with their proximity to the Donnerschwee meadows and their beautiful cycling and walking paths. Nevertheless, everyday necessities are within a few minutes' walk or on foot.

The 100 m² apartment, in a listed building, with a large terrace, in the Mediterranean garden, is located in the idyllic Knoops Park. Walks to the nearby river are a natural fit and an ideal starting point for bike tours. The maritime Vegesack with its historic harbor, like the city center of Bremen, are accessible by public transport. Bus stop 100 m, train station 850 m away.

The bright 60 sqm apartment is intended to be a home away from home. It has its own entrance and its own garden, so you can enjoy the tranquility on the terrace undisturbed. A grill is available and 2 bicycles for excursions on the surrounding bike paths. Children are very welcome. We are happy to provide a crib and highchair. The accommodation is on the ground floor, fully furnished and located in a pleasant residential area. Good highway connection (A28, about 3 km), shopping, restaurants and the Swarte-Moor-See for walks in nature. The city bus stops right outside the front door. A small garden makes this accommodation a cozy retreat.

This quaint apartment invites you to relax and enjoy. In the middle of the countryside next to a cow meadow is the best place to relax. The area can be explored on foot or by bike. On cold days, you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.

You'll have a relaxing time here. It is not far to the city center and there are shops nearby. Thanks to a separate bedroom and a large sofa bed, up to four people can be accommodated. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cater for yourself. Bed linens and towels are of course available.
