Farmstay vacation rentals in Eastern Finland

An unforgettable experience! The house is built in a typical Finnish style, including a large terrace, sauna, kitchen with everything you need and three beds. There were 5 of us, and the stay was lovely. Anne welcomed us very warmly and explained everything to us at the beginning of our stay. The fishing boat and fresh eggs from the hens were a real plus. We'll be happy to go back!

It was truly one of the rare, beautiful and peaceful places I have ever stayed in. First of all, I would like to thank Ritta-Miina and her husband. They invited me to their tables during my stay and treated me with such sincerity as if they had known me for many years. Thank you very much for everything, I hope to see you again, stay healthy 😊😊

Very nice cottages. The kitchen equipment is quite comprehensive. The bathrobes were a nice surprise. Easy to come again.

Very good accommodation, bigger apartment than in the photos. The sauna in the basement was well-stocked with -25 degrees Celsius, and Matti warmed us up one day with a wood sauna. It's a shame it was too cold to visit the national park. Definitely will be back!

Everything went perfectly. The place was idyllic, beautiful and peaceful. 7-year-old traveler fell in love with the balcony! I saw Anunkki briefly, she is a very kind and nice woman. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Clean, cozy, peaceful place. Great service in the sauna with the water ready. A wonderfully refreshing pond that was nice to take a dip in the heat. Hotel-level breakfast in the main house. I recommend driving a little aside is not a burden.

We stayed at Esko's farm for one night after a day at Repovesi National Park. It's very close to Ristiina and about an hour driving from the park. The hosts are very nice and we had a long talk over breakfast about Finland, where to go, what to do, what to eat, all kinds of information only a local can provide. Aside from that, the breakfast was great - almost all products were from the farm or the area - raspberries, eggs, honey, apple juice. I can only recommend staying there.

Lovely countryside where you could admire the little calves right near the house! Cozy place and spacious bedrooms upstairs. Great steam and swimming at the lakeside sauna! The host served really well and responded quickly to messages. We recommend this idyllic place and will definitely be back!

The beautiful and tidy stay was located in a lovely countryside setting, and the garden house terrace was a great experience. We cooked in the yard's house, everything worked great. The sauna warmed up on both nights, great steam with a stunning landscape of fields. We also went swimming at the nearby pond, crowning the evening. As a host, Mikko was approachable, friendly, and helpful. services and shops are a short drive away. Thanks!

Tiina and her family, cat, dog, horse, sheep, and pigs all take welcome. The place and the above are stunning.

It's a private farm with 4 houses and cabins, mostly used by Finnish audience only, which all share access to beach, nature path and other services. There were some other guests who didn't bother us. We lived in the former owners' house, which is not new, but very well equipped and livable. The mattresses could be better, but we can be subjective:) The nature is gorgeous, with mushrooms, berries, forest and a lake. The lake has clear water and entrance is sandy. Almost no mosquitos on our stay! We didn't use sauna or hot tub, but they are in place and usable. From fishing point of view we didn't do much because of kid, also because the waters are shallow in this area and you don't get much from the shore. If you want serious fishing, there're options within motorboat reach, which we saw use. The place features a dishwasher, washer and dryer, which was perfect for a family. Also there's something to do with small kid, like swing, sandbox and a sheep cabin. Thank you very much!

Lovely peaceful place! The kids loved the animals on the farm and they had plenty to marvel at. Two families fit in very comfortably and we had a great time! At this time of year, blackout curtains would have been necessary, but we still did well :)

Matti is a great host and easy to approach. His checkin process was pretty good. We had all the amenities as he promised. We had a nice stay in a big house with Sauna. The place is perfect for big group. Also, we really enjoyed the snow scooter ride and that is the best part of our trip :). There is a possibility for Tesla charging as well. I highly recommend this place!!.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment! It’s a lovely, peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. There’s a lake about 10–15 minutes from the house, and the views there are absolutely stunning 🙂 perfect for a walk or just relaxing in nature. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One thing to note: the sauna didn’t work out as well as expected… it heats up very slowly, so I wasn’t really able to use it properly. But aside from that, everything else was great. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy some time in nature!
