Twechar is situated on the Forth and Clyde canal which is used for cycling, walking and kayaking. Built in 2018, it is finished to a high specification with wood-burning stove and big windows with views of the Campsie Hills and open countryside. The Roundhouse is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Bute & Arran and is really close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. There are two other cottages on site which, when booked together offer accommodation for 14.
