Situated in a Georgian Country House estate, Orchard Lodge is a south facing self-contained property within a rural, peaceful, secluded location overlooking the river Avon with Avon valley views to be enjoyed from an extensive sun deck/terrace with hot tub. The lodge is nestled within native woodland, pleasant walks can be enjoyed within the 22 acre estate or why not try one of the trails around Glassford. Private fishing available on the river Avon (brown trout and grayling).

The exterior of Lochinver Guest House features a grand Victorian facade adorned with decorative stonework. Blooming cherry blossoms frame the entrance, enhancing the garden with potted plants arranged neatly along the path. Large windows allow glimpses of the interior, welcoming guests into the space.

The Wallace Room, Lochinver Guest House

The Wallace room is a comfortable super-king double or twin bedded room (can be configured either way - let us know when you book if you have a preference) and is situated on the second floor of Lochinver Guest House, up two full flights of stairs, with walk in wardrobe, and en-suite with shower and toilet. The room has a high view of the leafy Park Circus with its beautiful Victorian villas, and you can see the Wallace Monument across the rooftops from the double window too.

A view is captured through a skylight, revealing a vibrant green hillside with neat lines of grass. A few trees populate the upper landscape, under a softly clouded sky, adding a touch of nature to the indoor environment.

We are a family run B&B situated in central Lanarkshire on the A71 between Stonehouse and Strathaven which is only a 5 minute drive from junction 8 on the M74. Glasgow Airport is a 30 minute drive and Edinburgh Airport 1 hour away. Larkhall train station is around 10 minutes away. Being in central Lanarkshire we have a large amount of restaurants, shops and bars for all age groups. While staying here for business or pleasure we offer a warm welcome to all.
