Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Durham County

Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional! The house was clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly situated in a fantastic location—easily walkable to downtown Durham and all it has to offer. It was the ideal spot for our small group, providing both comfort and convenience. Cosmo was incredibly clear and easy to work with, making the entire process seamless from start to finish. His thoughtful communication and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. If you're looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and well-equipped stay in Durham, this is the place to book! We will absolutely consider another stay here in the future.

First I would like to just say Aaron and Simone were great! The place its self was spotless it was very clean and contained all the essentials for a long or short term stay. We arrived a bit earlier than expected and I messaged Aaron and Simone and within minutes they responded and graciously allowed us to check in a bit early and it saved our butts! There was alot of great qualities about this house but my favorite was I immediately felt right at home! Thanks again for allowing us to stay with you guys and your hospitality! You will be the first host we check with for next year’s golf trip!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jill’s home. The space was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited our needs. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary 7-day YMCA pass provided for everyone on the reservation. Such a thoughtful and generous perk that added so much value to our trip. Jill was a fantastic host with excellent communication throughout our stay. She was responsive, helpful, and made sure we felt welcomed from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend her home to others!

We loved our stay. Great place, nice furniture, clean, very comfortable. From providing snacks, candy, and even a bottle of wine, the hosts went above and beyond to make us welcome here.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was the perfect space for an intimate gathering in celebration of my fiancé’s 30th. The modern design, spacious layout, and beautiful backyard made it feel both comfortable and special. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up, exactly what we needed for a memorable weekend. We’d absolutely stay again.

The place was clean and comfy, love the back porch. Josh was a great host and gave us some great recommendations. Close to east campus. 10 min. walk to field hockey and softball field. Durham is great city with lots to do.

For my first time being in North Carolina, it truly helped elevate the experience with such a beautiful location filled with trees surrounding and nature. Mohmeet was always responsive and attentive to anything I needed and worked their best to provide the very best. Ana Maria's place was perfect for us! We were there for the weekend and ate out, but Ana Maria's kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. The king bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is updated, and the living area is perfect for relaxing. We loved the wooden venetian blinds throughout the unit. We highly recommend Ana Maria's place to the AIrbnb community.

Erin's place was spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The place included extra amenities with white noise machine in bedrooms, games for the kid, and extra towels and linens. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all items needed for short stay and for cooking. Erin was very friendly, responsive, and proactive in instructions. Overall, the place feels peaceful and secluded.

The place was amazing- exactly what we needed and wanted. It was 4 of us ( 2 couple) and it was perfect. Two rooms with queen beds and each room with their own walk-in closets and full bathrooms. Clevs and Amy were very responsive and gave us clear instructions. They even checked in on us if we needed anything. Great place for the price. Highly recommend and I’d love to go back.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Peaceful, private and clean. Met expectations and then some. We really enjoyed ourselves, as did our dog, and appreciate hosts allowing our furry best friend to be with us. Beautiful field and natural surroundings. A lovely escape. Road noise is detectable as per the information, but did not detract from our experience. The sound of songbirds in the morning was heavenly. Saw a Carolina Wren sitting on five eggs in its nest. Excellent communication via messages and written and app instructions. Love the outdoor lights. Very impressed the owners are aware of nature’s need of darkness, so turned off outdoor lights when not in use (outdoor lights confuse migratory birds, for example) and felt safe. Hoping to return soon!

If I could give this property and management 10 stars I would! The house Is quaint and surrounded by trees. It has two large screened porches with plenty of seating. It is the epitome of peacefulness. You feel like you are alone in the woods but you are only 5 or 10 minutes from everything!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful. They are really kind people. We stayed two weeks and wish we could have stayed longer.

Peter & Jenny were gracious and generous hosts. The surroundings were lovely and serene. Walks in the woods surrounded by God’s beautiful creation were a special treat. We would love to have an opportunity to return!

Beautiful home, peaceful, exactly what we were looking for, for our family. Our boys enjoyed the fishing, using the kayaks, and fire pit. The chickens were very entertaining! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely plan another trip! Many thanks to the host!

This was a really really cute stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay and was surprised how efficient the whole space was regardless off the small home. Very clean, had multiple kitchen utensils, washroom is clean, the sleeping area was quite fun. Lot of options there too. Overall 10/10!! Liz and her co-host were very helpful and responsive.

This house had all the “things” that you forgot and needed! Lots of special touches. We loved the swing in the living room right by the window! Very private and quiet but also very easy to find. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
