It is a great base for exploring Exmoor and the neighbouring towns of Dulverton and Bampton, boasting amazing shops and restaurants.

This historic Charter Town lies in mid Devon near the Devon/Somerset border on the edge of Exmoor National Park, with a 'Walkers Are Welcome' status. Easy access to both North and South coasts.

Welcome to my cosy home in the delightful village of Bampton. Easily accessible from Tiverton Parkway station and Junction 27 of the M5, it is a great base from which to explore beautiful Exmoor National Park, Wimbleball Lake, and within easy reach of Exeter, Taunton and the north and south coasts of Devon. Bampton has great pubs, excellent restaurants, coffee shops and a bakery. A great place for cyclists, walkers, guests visiting family or attending weddings.

Watch our pedigree cattle grazing in the luscious fields beyond, unwind in the wood fired hot tub under the stars with a glass of locally brewed ale or English fizz or curl up on the cosy bed with a book. This is a recently refurbished Annexe - light and airy with a shower room and adjoining WC. In 2022 we have added a brand new kitchen, with breakfast bar seating. The property is situated ten minutes from Tiverton and two minutes from the A361 - the main route in to North Devon and Exmoor, and North Cornwall. Extra service: we welcome your dog. However, space in the Annexe is limited so if there is more than one dog, please chat to us first.
