Merrijg, Dulverton

Really enjoyed my stay. Had a lovely time and a great experience. The house was clean and tidy. Host was quick to get in touch and confirm how to access the property after I’ve booked so I knew how to enter the property with plenty of time before arrival. Even offered some directions to the property as well, which would be helpful if I didn’t have Maps on. Wi-Fi at the property was a good speed and the property had clearly been looked after.

This was a much needed break for my wife and I. This part of Devon is stunning Knowstone is gorgeous. Debbie and her husband were welcoming and helpful. I look forward to the first vintage from their fledgling vineyard. The Michelin starred Mason's Arms was a joy for our evening meal. Get to that pub while you can as they are looking for a buyer. All highly recommended.

A wonderful stay in the cottage, it really was a home from home! Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Heather and Richard were the perfect hosts. Warm and welcoming and always on hand to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions. The Lemon drizzle cake was absolutely delightful!! The farm was fantastic for our Border collie, Jess with large fields to walk around and the cottage was the perfect base to explore what Devon has to offer. Highly recommended

Exmoor Retreat

JulieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely place with absolutely everything you could wish for, including great views of Dunkery Beacon. We enjoyed the delicious cocktails and snacks looking at the sunset then wandered over the road for a slap-up meal at the pub, which was very good value. Great location for mountain biking and exploring the countryside. Charging points available outside the front door for ebikes.
