Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Downtown, St. John's

Second time staying at Rhonda’s beautiful place and we will absolutely be back for a third! It’s such a peaceful place to relax and the location is amazing. The house is perfect for a solo traveler or couple looking for a cute getaway and place to rest and have a nice quiet drink together on the patio! The house has everything you need to cook, clean and enjoy without needing to go out of your way to get anything. Rhonda also went out of her way to let us know an iceberg was close to us, which was appreciated and so cool to see! If you see this listing and it’s available - book it!!! Our first visit to Newfoundland and the Portugal Cove property did not disappoint. The views are stunning, from almost every room in the house. Derrick and Rachel are lovely responsive hosts. When we inquired about whether binoculars were available, they replied they were not, but had acquired and set up binoculars on a tripod for our visit. We arrived quite late and appreciated the basket of goodies and fully stocked Keurig coffee that we could use first thing in the morning. The bed linens were all very soft and cozy and we felt at home the second we stepped in the door. This place is a gem and in such a great location - close to St John’s

Harborside blue is one of the best places we’ve stayed at on Airbnb, hands-down. Jim and Michelle were so wonderful to us and incredibly accommodating for our family of two parents and two toddlers. They had absolutely everything we needed and the space is huge. This was our first time in St. John’s and our family would definitely go back and if we did we would stay here again. Thanks for everything, Jim and Michelle!

Three of us spent a month at Patricia and James' house. It's a warm and comfortable home with everything you need. Some groceries and snacks on arrival were a nice touch! The space is used very well. James and Patricia are both very responsive to any questions/concerns. We wiill definitely return!

Our experience with David and his lovely home was all positive. The house was perfect for the 4 adults who stayed there. Rooms were well appointed and beds comfortable. The numerous amenities were excellent, especially the coffee/tea & milk,butter etc. in the fridge. We highly recommend using David’s place and will certainly stay there again, if the need arises.

Quintessential St John's charm. House was very clean, spacious and large while still being cozy. Backyard is a lovely space to hang out and BBQ. Walkable to everything on Water and George while being tucked away from the bustle. Would love to stay again on our next trip.

We stayed at the most stunning Airbnb. Truly one of the best. The property is literally right on the water, and the views were insane. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having coffee while looking out at the ocean felt like a dream. The amenities were just as impressive: fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, and every little detail was thought through. It was peaceful, beautifully designed, and honestly, hard to leave. Shawn & Debbie were fantastic hosts during my week in Newfoundland and are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The property is just a quick drive from St. John’s, but is far enough away to provide a quiet night and a dark sky after a long day spent exploring the area. The unit was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to be based out of for my vacation. An easy five stars.

Great little place to stay. Private parking was a huge bonus. Very clean and well labelled. Easy to check in and out. Lots to do in the area, would stay again.

Andrea was a lovely host and very accommodating to our needs. The place was just as pictured, and she added a personal touch to every corner of it. We felt right at home as Andrea thought of stocking the house for every possible scenario, whether it be food, utensils, games, bathroom supplies, books, etc. The lovely house was very cozy as well, with heating controls in every room. Andrea was also kind enough to decorate the place with goodies and flowers for our belated Valentine’s Day celebrations. She was also very responsive to all our messages. All in all, we had a very relaxing stay at her East End Gem, and we would certainly like to return in the future. :)

I had a fantastic stay at Peak Vista! The place was exactly as described peaceful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Billy and Flora were gracious and thoughtful host, checking in to make sure everything was going well and making me feel genuinely welcome. The attention to detail and the calm surroundings made it a perfect getaway. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Peak Vista to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed stay. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!
