Waterfront vacation rentals in Downtown, St. John's

Right on Water Street within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Can be noisy due to traffic- light sleepers may have an issue if they also turn in early. Noise settles eventually. The host was helpful in assisting with this issue by providing a fan for white noise. I would stay here again- super clean and close to many tourist attractions.

It’s a lovely and very cozy flat. We were happy to find a well equipped kitchen to prepare our meals. The location is perfect to explore the peninsula and go on a boat trip. We booked with Gatherall’s and had a fantastic experience. Lori is a great host, very responsive. She has decorated the flat with love and great attention to detail. We definitely recommend her home.

We found the apartment very comfortable especially the furniture. It was very clean. I especially liked the serene view. I didn’t find the iron till we were leaving but I found out hanging your clothes in the bathroom, the steam really will de wrinkle your clothes. I would recommend Faith’s place.

stayed an extra 3 night and didn't want to leave. right on the water beside a fishing harbor, buy your lobster right off the boat best place ever. thanks cheryl

When us five ladies opened the door we were blown away by the lovely modern accommodations. Great quality beds, linens, towels, and lots of extra amenities. Everything was very tastefully done. Highly recommend this as an excellent place to stay.😁😁😁

Such a cute spot with an amazing view! Apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Elaine gave us great recommendations for places to go. Highly recommend Fork restaurant! Would stay here again, hopefully longer next time!

Perfectly located close to signal hill and all the restos downtown. Place is superbly clean and spacious. It has all the needed amenities for comfort away from home. Check in and out was super simple and Joy was easy to reach for anything. I particularly enjoyed the very modern vibe of the place. Only downside is perhaps the lack of views but there is ample light coming into the place. Will definitely stay again on next visit.

This place was absolutely stunning! Elias greeted us upon arrival and was so incredibly welcoming and friendly! I can’t say enough good things about him. The place had everything we needed and then some! The balcony has a beautiful view and the downtown area is walkable from this place. Would 100% return again!

Really a well appointed and beautiful place. Right on the water and access to the Trailway for walking/biking. Hosts were responsive and kind. The house is as described and the decor is wonderful. We walked in and felt at home right away. 30 minutes from St. John's, but don't miss out on the CBS and Holyrood areas. Absolutely recommend and will be back.

Our first visit to Newfoundland and the Portugal Cove property did not disappoint. The views are stunning, from almost every room in the house. Derrick and Rachel are lovely responsive hosts. When we inquired about whether binoculars were available, they replied they were not, but had acquired and set up binoculars on a tripod for our visit. We arrived quite late and appreciated the basket of goodies and fully stocked Keurig coffee that we could use first thing in the morning. The bed linens were all very soft and cozy and we felt at home the second we stepped in the door. This place is a gem and in such a great location - close to St John’s

Great spot in Petty Harbour. Gorgeous views from the home and spacious deck for watching the boats for fishing come and go. Very spacious with three bedrooms with queen sized beds and well thought out kitchen supplies. Lots of coffee, tea, sugar and coffee whitener for your morning fix! Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Second time at Rose’s and another great stay, everything you need and a quiet neighborhood

This little cottage in the Outer Battery was phenomenal! It had all the amenities and was a cozy place to stay for short or long term. We were there for 6 days and it was great. The AirBnb is a 25-30min to heart of downtown St Johns and only a 15min drive to the airport. We also recommend checking out the Battery Cafe that is a 5min walk from the cottage. Highly recommended AirBnb for those who want to stay close to St. John’s but still wish to enjoy the quiet-side of the city. The north head trail that leads to Signal Hill is just right outside the door of the cottage as well!

It was a perfect place to base ourselves. Unfortunately there were no restaurants open in the area, but St. Johns is only 15 minutes away to the downtown. It was great to BBQ and look at the harbour. The place is perfect and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you like to be away from the city and want a peaceful spot at the end of the day!
