House vacation rentals in Downtown, Richmond

Comfortable home that was exactly what my family needed. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Shower on the first floor is my favorite of any place I’ve stayed. Maria was always responsible and was flexible my with requests.

We had a great stay—the backyard is beautiful and peaceful; the pool resort-quality and refreshing; kitchen well-equipped for preparing chef-quality meals; house full of interesting reads, artwork, and games. Everyone from 9 to 92 enjoyed the house. We also explored the neighborhood and found it close to all sorts of interesting places right out the front door. Would definitely stay again next time we come to Richmond.

Perfect place for our family who were in Richmond for a wedding. Our host could not have been more accommodating, even purchasing a steamer for 14 people in formal attire. The house was set up for any occasion you could imagine.

Truly a lovely “resort” - the home is beautifully updated inside and out! The backyard is truly an oasis. Thoughtfully stocked; no detail was left out. Thanks for a great weekend.

It is an incredible property, pictures and words don’t do it justice. The home, grounds and neighborhood are very well appointed with a wonderful layout. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, we saw swans daily, the bird and frog songs were enchanting. We walked the neighborhood every day. The pool and landscaping were amazing. The master wing is exceptional. We were there for a family wedding and the “princess” dressing room was very well used. The master bath/ shower room has a steam feature that we enjoyed and the” sparkly” bath and shower were magical for our grandkids ( and the adults.). The art and collections were exotic and everyone, not just the grandchildren were enchanted. We entertained 10-25 guests comfortably each evening. As to previous reviews about cleanliness-it was fine, as per linens, everything was available, clean, folded. PS if you want the St. Regis this property has much more to offer than fluffy robes and slippers. We will be back!

We are repeat guests and they minute we find out we have to be in Richmond, it's an automatic click. The hospitality of the owners is top level. The house is well stocked and has pretty much all cooking supplies you could ever need. The pool was so key this last stay because it was so hot and the water was refreshing! We felt right at home. Great guest instructions and easy checking in as well as checking out. Again, automatic booking for us when we need to be in Richmond!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was great so we were able to sit on the front porch and also spend time in the lovely private backyard. Short walk to everything Cary Street has to offer, including many restaurant choices. Thanks again! Lynda and Winston

In Richmond for a concert at Allianz Amphitheater, which is about a milk walk slightly downhill. Also convenient to VCU and plenty of Richmond via walking, and short car rides for anything else. Very convenient location wise for our purposes. It was quite roomy and comfy for three guests. The neighborhood seemed pleasant, although there were some noisy birds seeming to live right outside the window. The living room was nice for vibing after our day's adventures. Minor issues with what may have been a hasty cleaning, as it seems the previous occupant had pets, and there was still some evidence of that left behind. That being said, the host team was quickly responsive when we let them know and offered to come and reclean. Overall, it was a satisfying stay.

Loved Sarah's home! Perfect for my husband, adult daughter and I. Beautifully decorated in and out. Spacious, comfortable, welcoming, airy, and great AC. We each had our own space and time. Fantastic soundproofing/windows! Despite having a relatively busy church across the street, we amazingly almost never heard cars or people! Beds and pillows were so comfortable--my hubby wants to buy them now! We cooked at least one meal a day there in the well-stocked kitchen. We almost felt like we were vacationing in a large, upscale cottage, and serenaded all day long by songbirds! We looked forward to returning each evening to our peaceful, relaxing "home"! Day 3, the front door keypad didn't work, so we accessed house via back door one. Sarah immediately tried to rectify issue remotely and then offered to come over. We said it was fine and fortunately, it self-corrected after 2 days. We would definitely stay here again and are so grateful Sarah shared her home with us. Thank you kindly!

Clean and well appointed with easy parking! Chelsea was very available to any questions and we enjoyed a very comfortable and quiet stay.

Alexander was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. Check in was a breeze. This was located in a prime location. Tons to do within walking distance. Many excellent restaurants in the area. I highly recommend El Pope, Beauvine, Abi’s Books & Brews, and Little Mexico! The home was beautiful!!! Absolutely stunning in person. Very clean. Great amenities! It is a hidden gem! There’s tons to do if you want to drive as well. Very cute area. Well worth it!! Thank you!!

This a beautifully renovated home with all of the modern amenities. The living room furniture & beds were very comfortable. The home was in a great location for us as it was close to the historic St. John's Church where we were attending a wedding. We did have a some problems with the security system and door locks, but Ursula was very responsive and we figured it all out. It may have been due to some work that was going on in the neighborhood causing the wifi to be spotty. Other than that it was a perfect place to stay.

We loved Timothy's place. Lots of characters and charming. Very clean and easy to keep it clean because Timothy leaves clean supplies available. It really felt like home for us. we will be back for sure! Also, the description of the area made it easier to find good restaurants and places to visit.

Everything was amazing! The house is absolutely stunning, you could easily spend an entire day just admiring all the beautifully curated decor. Every detail felt intentional and inviting. The master bed was incredibly comfortable, and we all found ourselves talking about how much we’d love to come back and stay again. Highly recommend!

Josh has a beautiful place with everything you need all set when you arrive. I am very picky about cleanliness and his place was spic and span clean. The beds were very comfortable, and I especially appreciated that the bedrooms had darkening drapes. He responded to me immediately each time I reached out. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely be back to visit...next time for a longer visit to enjoy my home away from home!

Stayed here with family for a few days. It was clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and we were able to make ourselves at home immediately. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a few deer next to the house! It's walking distance to a supermarket, which is huge when you're on vacation and don't want to spend all day getting essentials! We would definitely stay here again!

Luke's house was spotless and comfortable and we had a nice stay. It is in a more urban area than we thought and not within walking distance of places we were planning on visiting. The surrounding area appears to be in transition and may feel different than expected at first glance. We did not have any issues during our stay, but it's helpful to be aware if you are unfamiliar with the area.

I had booked Toyin Airbnb for my work crew and they had no complaints for the whole trip. I would highly recommend it! Ohh her communication is top notch.

The house was perfect! The hot tub, backyard and walk to the water was beautiful, peaceful and tranquil.
