Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Downtown, Richmond

We had a nice and relaxing stay! We were in Richmond for medical treatment for my husband and we spent three weeks at the house. It was very clean, comfortable, and is in a great neighborhood. It is close to several Target and Kroger stores and many other shopping centers. It is also a close and easy drive to VCU. Cadu was always quick to respond to any questions we had and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this house to stay in for any length of time!!

Our family of five had a quick stay at Josh’s and the home did not disappoint. It was spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The back porch and yard was our favorite space - the fire pit and twinkle lights created a great atmosphere. We would absolutely stay again.

This is a beautiful old house! Definitely be mindful of the location when you’re booking, it’s a great location if you’re looking to go out and walk around, but the music from the bars was quite loud until very late at night. It wasn’t really an issue for us, but if you’re looking for a quieter scene, it’s something to be aware of! Very cute house, a little quirky! We had a wonderful stay

This home and this neighborhood is old and completely charming. Walking inside through the front door just feels good— everything is tastefully furnished and decorated with just the right touch of modern amenities. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Truly well done and a big thank you to our hosts! Blair was so responsive and helpful. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing stay that allowed us to have a perfect Richmond weekend. We loved the neighborhood and sitting in the front porch as well as frequenting the local restaurants and coffee shops. Comfy bed and it was nice to have the space to relax or use the kitchen.

Everything was clean and it was a good place to stay, and it was close to Richmond and had a blast going out.

Stayed here with a small group of friends to attend a concert. The place is spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The back patio was also spacious and nice. Despite being centrally located and close to everything, it wasn't noisy and disruptive outside. Very walkable to just about everything including the bus system that goes east/west on Broad which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

This place was great! The location makes it easy to get to many places in Richmond quickly and it was a perfect location for a family wedding in nearby Maymont. The house is beautiful and the furnishings very comfortable. The pool was a special bonus - lovely and relaxing with incredible plantings. Clearly a lot of time was spent considering what guests might want. I just wish we'd had more time to enjoy it.

Matched the pictures perfectly. Nice little space. AC was great for the summer heat. Great location. Really enjoyed my stay!

Shannon’s place met our expectations. The price for our stay was more than reasonable. It’s such a quiet and calming space. Everything was super clean, and the neighbors were super friendly. Would 100% recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful! The house was beautifully decorated. We used this for my partner’s birthday trip and it exceeded our expectations! We were mindful it is still an active horse ranch so there were ants but we were prepared. Other than that everything was exceptional and the horses were beautiful too!

Edna's condo was a cozy place for us to stay while visiting/supporting new parents as they welcomed another little one. Having two bathrooms was helpful, the kitchen had everything we needed for our meal prep. It's a quiet location and when the weather cooperated we enjoyed walking the trails accessed from the back of the complex. A treasure!

It is an incredible property, pictures and words don’t do it justice. The home, grounds and neighborhood are very well appointed with a wonderful layout. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, we saw swans daily, the bird and frog songs were enchanting. We walked the neighborhood every day. The pool and landscaping were amazing. The master wing is exceptional. We were there for a family wedding and the “princess” dressing room was very well used. The master bath/ shower room has a steam feature that we enjoyed and the” sparkly” bath and shower were magical for our grandkids ( and the adults.). The art and collections were exotic and everyone, not just the grandchildren were enchanted. We entertained 10-25 guests comfortably each evening. As to previous reviews about cleanliness-it was fine, as per linens, everything was available, clean, folded. PS if you want the St. Regis this property has much more to offer than fluffy robes and slippers. We will be back!

Cute and cozy and charming room but the main appeal is the incredible location!!! so much to do and explore and not enough time!!! we cannot wait to come back. Thank you Erica!!!

Meg’s place is perfect for a base to explore Richmond or relax! Airy, spacious, and just a few blocks away from all the museums, restaurants and shops of the Fan District and Carytown. Would absolutely stay here again!

In Richmond for a concert at Allianz Amphitheater, which is about a milk walk slightly downhill. Also convenient to VCU and plenty of Richmond via walking, and short car rides for anything else. Very convenient location wise for our purposes. It was quite roomy and comfy for three guests. The neighborhood seemed pleasant, although there were some noisy birds seeming to live right outside the window. The living room was nice for vibing after our day's adventures. Minor issues with what may have been a hasty cleaning, as it seems the previous occupant had pets, and there was still some evidence of that left behind. That being said, the host team was quickly responsive when we let them know and offered to come and reclean. Overall, it was a satisfying stay.

My sister, daughter, and I enjoyed a night in Candi's place. The bedrooms and the living room were a good size. We really appreciated the 11 am checkout so that we could relax and have coffee in the morning. The area is lively, so be prepared for some nightlife noise on the weekend. However, the apartment is set back from the street, with thick brick walls (loved them!), and so it really wasn't a problem for us. We ate at Lulu's around the corner for a great brunch on Sunday. We would come back to sample the many other interesting restaurants in the area.

We had a fantastic stay! This condo had great high ceilings, which made the place feel very spacious. There were close spots to quickly park and unload suitcases, and no stairs to climb. There are so many things to do within walking distance, such as great restaurants and visiting the beautiful capitol building area. Parking is included and just around the block in a safe garage, which is such a plus when staying downtown. We definitely would book this space again! Whit is very helpful, friendly and responsive!

Carlos's place was great for a long weekend in the city—would definitely come back!

This was an amazing tiny house! The pictures don't do it justice. It was very clean and had a nice cedar smell. Hannah kept in touch with me regarding checking in & out. My dog & I enjoyed the bed in the loft area! The kitchen was very well stocked with coffee and tea and cookware. There was complimentary microwave popcorn and spices and fresh cold filtered water in the fridge. My dog enjoyed the yard and the dog toys. We didn't get to use the fire pit due to rain. It was very private and I felt safe. We'll definitely book again if in the area.

We loved staying at Carroll’s. It was adorable!! And two story so we had plenty of space and privacy and the location was super convenient. Carroll had everything stocked, more than we needed. Going forward this will be our go-to Richmond reservation- our Richmond home away from home. Thank you Carroll for making us feel at home.

Great place to stay. Spacious, comfortable and easy access. Response time from the host was a little slow, but otherwise everything went great. I’d definitely stay again.
