Welcome to the award winning Cupples Cottages! This 600sf flat was recently renovated and is beautifully furnished. When built in 1952 by my late grandfather these units were offered fully furnished providing temporary housing primarily to the construction workers living away from their families working on my grandfather's construction crew. Fast forward over 70 years and 2 generations and the property has been reimagined as Cupples Cottages Vacation & Vehicle Rentals, operating since 2017.

The large backyard has a deck with table and chairs, as well as a firepit. There is a desk to work at and high-speed wifi internet, plus a free parking space.

This upstairs suite is in an historic 1917 cottage, in downtown Anchorage, and is a rare find! Steps away from restaurants, bars, convention center, bus station, museum, bike trails, parks and pubs. It shares the building with a hair salon on the main level. With a private entrance, it is upstairs under the attic eaves, so the bathroom ceiling is slanted (FYI super tall people!) quality towels & linens, a full-sized pull out sofa bed in the living room, the queen bed is cool gel memory foam!

Sweet Little Studio!

I was a solo traveler that came to Anchorage to visit friends and do some hiking. This basement studio apartment had everything I needed. I slept great every night in the comfortable bed. Juwan and his wife were very nice and helpful when I needed them. The kitchen is well equipped. I also appreciated having the washer/dryer. I loved the location and found it very easy to walk into town. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. This is a basement unit and while it didn’t bother me, you can definitely hear them upstairs. The place was immaculate. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved this loft! It was a perfect location for our trip. The nearby park and neighbor are lovely. We could walk to Main Street and rented bikes for trails. Nick was very responsive for our questions and quick to give help. The unit has everything you might need for a home away from home.

We loved the apartment and the entry was super easy. There are lots of great restaurants and breweries nearby including one just down the street, turning right out the front doors.
