Quiet place. Great for getting out of the city and distracting your mind. I slept very well, no noise. Whirlpool works well. Only microwave and barbecue so I took my portable electric oven to cook.

A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. There is so much to say about Pilar’s mountain retreat! It’s a quick 1.5 hour drive from Madrid. Her space is pure peaceful bliss with every detail thought of! Our group enjoyed playing games, watching movies on the projector screen and running and playing with our dog in the lush yard! He was in pure heaven! Segovia is a short 35 minute drive from her place. The beds were comfortable with great linens and wonderful pillows. Pilar has fluffy luxury towels and robes to enjoy. Pilar had gifts for us and the dog and everything you could possibly think of to feel comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful with a river right in front of the house where we could hear the sounds of water rushing. The grounds of the house are beautiful with roses, beautiful trees and gorgeous landscaping. Pilar was an incredible host making sure we were happy with everything! I recommend her place. It would be a magical place to visit in the colder months as well. We would love to return!

Jesús' estate is fantastic surrounded by plants that his parents cultivate with great care and a small garden that you can also enjoy, the pool is wonderful with hot water... A great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility in those comfortable hammocks under the shade of the trees. Perfect for any type of trip. With a lot of routes around (we didn't do but the renters of the other house if). Very quiet place

It's an amazing place😍 to fully enjoy nature, sleep with the sound of the river in the background and wake up with the beautiful view of the trees. It's spectacular, the cabins are beautiful, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool, Manuela is a wonderful host, attentive, very kind and close, we felt right at home. I'll definitely repeat the experience.

Great view and privacy!

Perfect home for a few days of rest with friends or family! Spacious, well maintained and with lots of green space. Access to the house is simple and the property is not far from the center of Braga, which facilitates tours and access to supermarkets and other services.

Amazing accommodation, quiet, private and with unbeatable views. Full contact with nature. Very friendly, polite and attentive owner, but without being overbearing. A 10-star experience, highly recommended.

A quiet place, surrounded by nature and with a charming cabin. We felt very comfortable, and very happy with Carlos' service, always attentive and concerned about whether we were comfortable. A full-fledged host, we have good memories and we can't wait to come back. Everything was very clean and equipped with everything you need.

Really recommend Vitor’s place: few minutes outside Coimbra and in the middle of the nature. Very good conditions as described in the details - it is even better than what it looks like in the pictures. Self-check and communication also easy. The only drawback is the access to the property with the car: if you don’t have a fairly high car, you might get stuck or scratch your car trying to get inside. Apart from that, everything is perfect!

Magic Getaway in the Northern Portugal Mountains This was our second time staying at this incredible log cabin, and it certainly won’t be our last. If you’re reading this review, let us assure you—this is the perfect place for your next mountain escape. The moment you arrive, you’re enveloped by the beauty of nature, the fresh mountain air, and the cozy, welcoming vibe of the cabin. The cabin itself is spotless, well-equipped, and designed to make you feel at home from the moment you step inside. The warm wooden interiors, crackling fireplace, and breathtaking views from every window are like something out of a dream. The outdoor spaces are equally enchanting—whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch, enjoying the serene surroundings, or stargazing at night, every moment feels special. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, just as they did the first time. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel truly cared for.

Conchi and Javi were very kind and thoughtful. Javi provided us with very useful information to make our hiking trails a 10 out of 10. It's a beautiful area that we've enjoyed a lot. The cabin is in a quiet area and it was great, especially to enjoy with the little one in the house.

It was us and our two dogs. It's a small but very cozy cabin with good views. If you are going with a dog be aware that there are cats in the area and that it is not fenced, if they are adventurous as mine can end up on the road. Very clean, groomed and rustic. It has a small barbecue and outdoor dining area that we used a lot. Zé and Paula are lovely. I will repeat but no dogs.

Lovely place. Wonderful pool. Responsive host. Would stay there again - really nice place. Close to many wineries and very enjoyable to relax in the pool and patio. A couple things to note - no soap or shampoo is provided so you have to buy your own. Also don’t leave any shoes or anything outside because neighborhood dogs came to the property each day (jumped over the rock wall) and on the first day they took my son’s hiking boots-we found one on the driveway and assumed the wind blew it but couldn’t find the other shoe. The second day we actually saw the dogs and then saw they had also taken his goggles which we left by the pool and destroyed those as well. So just a tip don’t leave anything outside overnight.

Good place to avoid city noise and be across the nature. Totally recommend and worth to visit!

Nick and his daughter were fantastic hosts, super proactive and incredibly helpful, especially to a member of our family with mobility issues. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we had a great stay. The cabin is in a beautiful, peaceful location, and the sunrise views are absolutely stunning.

Good stay, super calm location, the animals are fantastic, docile, the cabin is very beautiful, the kitchen was beautiful, a great adventure cooking outdoors, we loved it, once again, the peace and tranquility is addictive, it's the 2nd cabin we've stayed in and we loved it, good to escape from everyday life in the city, we'll be back

It was great! The cabin is small and cozy. Everything you need to stay without feeling overwhelmed. We were a couple and a dog and the space and utensils etc was perfect. Upon arrival he attended and explained everything Luis (5 stars also for his work) and we had good communication at all times with him and Alberto. Our dog made very good crumbs with his (Drago) and they had a great time. We will repeat without a doubt, we stay eager to use the patio!
