A nice break in a quiet location with a nice hot tub and sauna!

I was looking for a beautiful spot to spend a few days on my long holiday in Germany and what I got was a beautifully maintained, very well organized property with great amenities in a quiet village. I had incredible day and night views of Schloss Braunfels from my living room and patio area. I explored the village as I was in town for several days and the people who live here are charming and so helpful. I ate several times at Zum Solmser Hof where they serve German and Greek Cuisine and the family that owns the restaurant is just lovely. I absolutely loved my time here.

Nice cottage in a nice area, unfortunately did not have the chance to discover everything. definitely recommended for others.

Jürgen was very helpful and very eager to give us a nice time. The property is great for groups and offers a lot. A lot of special features of the amenities make for a good stay.

Everything was perfect for us, a very well-kept, lovingly furnished house with a fantastic garden. The house and the garden invite you to linger. You can take many great hikes in the area. Annette always responds very quickly and kindly. Thank you for having us as your guests.

A very idyllic place surrounded by wonderful nature. Great for slowing down and relaxing. There is everything you want, many seats, large property and barbecue facilities. It is all very natural and yet well maintained. You can hike directly from the house and for my dog it was a paradise with a bathing spring. Thank you also for the warm welcome and for the good fairy Liane. I'd love to come back.

It was perfect for our group of friends! The accommodation alone with numerous possibilities (saunas, bathtub, pool table, garden, super-equipped kitchen, television, books,...) has made for eventful days so much that we would have liked to stay much longer to explore the area more (e.g. the charming Allstadt and the beautiful rural possibilities for walking, etc.). The house was so large and cozy that everyone had their own space when you needed it, but we could also keep ourselves perfectly busy in the group. Was a great vacation!

We had a really great time in Lahnstein, and staying at the castle was totally part of the charm! The rooms have such a unique charm, it feels really genuine, whilst still reasonably comfortable and convenient. The location is brilliant, right on the bank of the Rhine, and the promenade is really beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying here, though if you expect luxury over charm, this might not be the place for you.

After the warm welcome from Caroline's mom, we had a pleasant stay and a wonderful quiet night in the studio with beautiful views over the fields and forests …. The splashing river provided even more deep relaxation 👍👍👍

We felt very comfortable at Merten's. The surroundings are great, several hiking trails are within walking distance. It is surrounded by nature and very quiet, perfect for relaxing. We will be happy to come back!

A nice place, has everything you need for a pleasant stay

Great place with a beautiful view! Everything from the older year of construction, but tiptop clean. Bonus is the pool on the ground floor and new elevators from 2024.

There were five of us in the mill and we enjoyed it very much! Nicole and Alfred are very welcoming and gave us good recommendations for exploring the area. Great view from the balcony directly into the forest. The street behind the house can be heard but is not very busy and therefore not a big deal. The apartment is very cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We totally enjoyed it - Thanks for the wonderful time! :)

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair from the 15th-18th century, a neighboring property with a swimming pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the vacation also found the perfect location as a setting here! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that was baked and ready for the handover of the AirBnB by Ursula was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone looking for something unusual and wanting to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

We will be happy to come back! We were welcomed directly in a friendly way and everything was shown to us on site. Especially for children, a lot is offered on site. Next to the animals there are two games rooms and a small swimming pool. The property was clean, well-maintained, and superbly decorated.

We didn't have a free minute during our two nights - there was so much to experience! I was there with my six-year-old daughter and she was never bored. Trampolines, pool, small vehicles and even three horses – there were many ways to enjoy the time. A special extra was the cherry tree, from which we could snack on delicious cherries – a real highlight! 😄 The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. Despite the heat outside, it was pleasantly cool inside, and we were able to sleep wonderfully. The surroundings were quiet, ideal for children, and exactly what we were looking for: a place far from the city, in the middle of nature. And don't forget – the starry sky at night was just beautiful. It was really worth it!

We had a lovely time at Landhaus Postwiese. The apartment was super clean. We didn't miss anything in terms of furnishings and amenities! The location was super central for tobogganing/skiing at the Postwiese. It was also nice that the swimming pool and wellness area of the nearby hotel could be used. The contact with the landlord was quick and very friendly. Thank you!
