Our grandparents and great-grandparents lived in it... including grandmother Carla (nona Carla), after whom the villa was named. It is located in the authentic Istrian village of Gažon which is situated on a hilltop above the coastal towns of Koper and Izola. It has only a few tourist capacities, so it remains still a normal living village. The village is surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards.
