Barn vacation rentals in Deux-Sèvres

We’ve had a fantastic week at this lovely, really homely AirBnB and would definitely return here. Having use of the big (shared) pool was brilliant fun for our kids (age 11 & 14), and the swings under the shade of the tree and ping pong table were great too. Plenty of space for a family, and Gwen the host speaks English and was really helpful. The peach jam & apple juice left out for us on arrival were delicious. This Airbnb is in a little village amongst pretty farmland. Fontenay Le Comte was close by for supermarkets, and one day we walked from the AirBnB to a little local bar in Montreuil. We chose this location because we could do a day trip to Puy de Fou and also to Futuroscope (both about an hour different directions, and great theme parks!). Locally we drove ten mins to Maillezais & hired an open canoe on the canals (green Venice!) and there’s a lovely abbey with a restaurant & shop there too.

We had a lovely stay at Marie's, who is a welcoming and friendly person. The cottage is very pleasant, there is everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Very nice hosting by Isabelle and her husband. A beautiful house, spacious and well organized. The house is very clean, everything is available. Isabelle is very attentive and takes the time to find out if everything is okay and if anything is missing. I recommend the place, the house and Isabelle's hosting. Thank you so much.

We had a great time staying with Lydie in the quiet countryside. Our host had good advice to guide us during our outings. The cottage is spacious and clean. It's a good fit for a large family. A little thought in" Slipper", the kitten that accompanied us all week. We recommend this cottage. To recharge, it's ideal. Thanks to Lydie and her family.

Beautiful accommodation 30 minutes from Puy du Fou. Perfect for spending a weekend with the family, quiet, in the countryside while being close to the necessities (village 5 minutes' drive away). The accommodation is beautiful, large, with well thought-out spaces. The hosts are very welcoming. I would recommned this property.

We had a great time at Lynda and Walter's, who are very welcoming and attentive hosts for their guests. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is great. We'll be back. I highly recommend it.

Thanks Mel and Richard for accommodating our families at short notice. You have a lovely property that was the perfect place to relax as a family. The pool was terrific there are great spaces, indoors and out, for eating and playing together. We hope to visit again.

Everything comes together for an idyllic stay at Francis and Patrick's. The accommodation is beautiful, very well decorated and equipped. Special mention for bedding! Thanks to Patrick's support, we were able to venture out by boat and discover the Poitevin marsh. A peaceful haven, a delicious mix of nature and magic. We recommend it 100% for nature lovers looking to disconnect!

The house is very spacious with everything you need including for the garden which is very beautiful and pleasant to walk around. Pierre is an available and welcoming host. 30 minutes from Saumur, the house was ideally located for this Ascension bridge.

Great stay at Julie's. The house is very nice, very comfortable and very well-equipped. The jacuzzi and the outside are very pleasant for spending a nice time in the sun and in the evening. We had a great time with the family in the cottage, which is particularly suitable. Everything is done to have a good time, many board games, foosball, pool and ping pong, there is something for everyone. The house overlooks a large terrace and courtyard, which is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and letting the children play without fear. The house is very well-equipped, the spaces are spacious and very well-decorated. Valérie and Dominique are very accommodating and welcoming, they even offered us a tour of their farm, goats and cows. A great opportunity to introduce children to the beautiful profession of farming. Thank you very much!

Marc's accommodation is a restaurant model, it is impeccable, convenient, we were 3 couples and the accommodation gives everyone their privacy. The equipment of the property is more than good +++++ + we would like to find identical accommodations when we book in other areas. A little plus the cake on arrival and Marc's welcome. Unfortunately the weather was not with us but we can't do much about it. To be done again if we return to this area. Thank you very much

Stay for two families with children. The house is very nice and very well furnished. Beautiful bathroom on the ground floor :-) The hamlet is very quiet and the view of the forest in the distance is perfect from the terrace or the pool! Very good bedding too

We stayed at the cottage as part of a cousin where we were 13 adults. The site is suitable for it, it has all the facilities and the necessary comfort with a very pleasant bonus pool. An address to keep for future stays, we recommend 100%.

Great vacation behind us! Very beautiful and nicely furnished house. The child-friendly swimming pool, the play barn with billiards and table tennis, the large living room with long tables, the rooms with bath and rain shower (including in the children's room),... everything was great! We were 10 (6 adults and 4 children). We would love to come back! Bart
