Built in 1823 as the servants’ quarters, it blends period charm with thoughtful modern touches. Nestled in the leafy suburb of Dore, on the edge of the Peak District and Sheffield. Self contained garden studio, with open plan kitchen/living room, shower room and upstairs attic style bedroom with double bed , sloping ceiling with some restricted height,& garden view. Private garden space & alfresco dining area for own use. May not be suitable for very overweight, tall or elderly people due to height restrictions and narrow stairs. Please feel free to ask prior to booking if any concerns.

The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Our beautiful and newly refurbished (2023) cottage is right in the heart of Bakewell, Derbyshire. The location could not be more convenient - it's a minute walk into the centre where you will find excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. We now also include free on-street parking. The Pudding Stop sleeps 2 guests (babies and dogs welcome too!) and is available for short breaks and week stays. This little hideaway is set within the garden of our 1830’s Grade II listed property.

Oaks Edge View is a modern airy holiday home including Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, Large bedroom with a King-size bed and separate comfortable sofa bed. The bedroom can be set up to be used as a twin bedroom on request with a separate toilet upstairs. There is a well equipped kitchen, dining area, bathroom with a shower. A lockable lean to drying room for putting wet clothes and bicycles. There is off road parking and a garage available to store motor bikes. Oaks Edge View is 2 miles from Matlock.

Adjoined to the main house by a wall, you have your own private entrance & courtyard (Summer suntrap!). The living/kitchen areas are bright and airy with huge high beamed ceilings and the bedroom with kingsize bed has French doors opening onto your private courtyard, so you can unwind on a warm evening or enjoy a lazy breakfast in summer.
