Christos is a great guy! He gave us free dancing lessons at his dance studio which was very fun. He also let us use some of the facilities at his hotel which was awesome. I will say that the beds in the apartment are very uncomfortable and can be hard to sleep on but that is the only downside to the apartment and otherwise it is worth the money we paid .

We loved enjoying the back terrace with the dogs (especially the little old one) and having our lunch in their company. In the evening, the cats joined us for an aperitif in the courtyard. Very relaxing. We weren't sure if we could explore the surrounding area.

I had a wonderful 3-week stay in Kastri! Charlotte was so helpful with arranging a car and giving tips for the area. The apartment is beautiful and well-appointed, it had everything I needed. The views and village are really quite special.

We had a very nice stay at Manolis house and a good communication before we arrived. Manolis and his wife are very kind and easy to communicate with, speaks mainly german but also som english. It is a nice silent spot in rural surroundings but with a short drive to the beach and nearby towns for shopping. The Minoic palace Festos is visible from the garden.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable place to stay while vacationing in Crete, this is your place. The house is a blend of modern amenities with traditional architecture. Outside you are surrounded by the most beautiful and tranquil garden to recharge the mind, body and soul. Flowers and fruit trees galore. The house itself would be an enjoyable vacation but if you want to explore Crete and leave the property, transportation to the city and beach is quick and accessible. Or you can explore the village of Archanes by foot and enjoy great restaurants, cafes, markets and bakeries while greeted by friendly locals. Maria is the icing on the cake. She’s one of the most caring and beautiful people you’ll ever meet. She goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable from the moment she greets you. She proudly gives you a history of Crete, recommendations, always smiling and answering any questions. I can’t wait to return next year!

We had a very pleasant week in Aliki and Niko's small guest house. The environment is superb, very beautiful sea view, surrounded by nature, among olive trees, vineyards, carob trees. It's quiet and relaxing. The surrounding beaches and coves are beautiful. Aliki and Niko are very warm, welcoming and discreet. Aliki gave us some great tips. The outdoor space, the patio with its living room with a fan is lovely. We had our breakfasts and lunches there. The outdoor kitchen is well appointed and very convenient. The outdoor shower is lovely. A small indoor kitchen and beautiful bathroom on the ground floor and the living room and sleeping area are on the 1st floor. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Thanks Aliki and Nico.

Wow, what a great experience. This place was located in a quite area close to everything. Antonis was great, very attentive and his family was awesome. I want to specifically thank his dad for the grapes, watermelon and always saying hello, it made me feel welcomed.

Exceptional hosts, Matina and George! They were very helpful and welcoming! The apartment is furnished and equipped with taste and passion! Everything sparkles with cleanliness! It is surrounded by a beautiful garden, where we enjoyed our evening drink. We'll definitely visit it again.

If you are looking for a little paradise in a remote place, close to the beach and with a amazing view and you want to deeply relax and recharge - this is your place. Eva is an inspiring person and created a magical home there. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, new and clean bathroom and a lot of space to practice Yoga, relax in the shade or on your terrace... I would come back here whenever I visit Crete and stay longer. I highly recommend spending at least a few days or even longer here. Love it!

Alex and Kostas's place is just gorgeous. Alex is a very courteous and great host. I felt very comfortable and welcome with him during that time. I would recommend anyone to book the accommodation and convince themselves. From the location, you don't go wrong, as it is generally recommended to book a rental car, but you can park it in the immediate vicinity. Rethymnon and Matala are about 1.5 hours away, if you want to go to Chania or Samaria gorge you have to drive up to 3 hours. Still, I had a great time. In the evening you can still relax in the courtyard and end the evening. Thanks again to Alex and his great place. Always happy

Very nice, lovingly furnished accommodation. The kids loved the cats. Martina had also left us toys. There are great beaches and restaurants nearby. Martina and Nico are great hosts.

This was seriously the most welcoming experience we've had on Airbnb. End to end perfect. A warm host that was always available when needed, a house equipped with everything you can ever need during a short trip plus a few beers and local produce for free to get you started, an amazing shared swimming pool, quietness, a house that keeps cool even during 40 degree summer days, a great location near the beach by car. We truly recommend this place and would surely visit again.

We stayed at Sofia's place for two weeks and we had a wonderful relaxing time. The family was at our arrival there and they were so friendly, welcoming and shared their food with us. We enjoyed going on hikes, there are various since it is in the mountains, we liked to go to Mires, which is a non touristic town, where we got to know some kind locals, the beach isn't too far either... To sum it up, we loved it, we miss the cats already (the neighbours roosters not so much^^) and are very grateful for the time we were able to spend at Sofia's.

We were warmly welcomed by Julie. And we felt very comfortable there. Everything we needed was there. A very traditional village with old stone houses. Julie's stone house is also designed with a lot of care and attention to detail. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. But we will be happy to come back.

It was a very relaxing stay at Andreas place. The beach is just across the street, the supermarket is 100 m away, and there are plenty of restaurants around. Our aim was mostly spend time at the beach, so it was very convenient. I think this is a great option for solo travelers because you can leave all your valuables in the room while staying at the beach. In addition, there are plenty of other beaches in Palaiochora which you can reach on foot or rent a bike. Don't be afraid of the snack bar, there is no smell of cooking anywhere on the territory, it works from 9 to 5 pm, and it's peaceful and quiet in the evening. Andreas allowed us to sit at the bar tables when the restaurant was not working, and we could enjoy the sea view and sunset from there. Additionally, we had our own table outside facing the beach. Andreas was super friendly, always available, and very helpful. We also enjoyed the E4 walking path from Palaiochora to Sougia and taking the ferry back.

Great place, quiet. At first hard to find but with photos I got there. Responding time is fast. The cat is checking your daily well being and wants a pet from you which you can't resist.
