Beautiful apartment, backyard is very generous, large kitchen and lounge. Walking distance to beautiful beach, restaurants, short drive to supermarkets. The place had everything you need plus more and treats on arrival. Would highly recommend for families. Beautiful to relax in the backyard and enjoy a BBQ.

The most beautiful apartment in an amazing location with only a short car ride to both the town and airport. Will definitely be going back in summer, with the private pool being the perfect size and you get the sun all day!

Thank you to Maria and Kostas for making our stay so enjoyable. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We also much appreciated the generous ‘welcome pack’. However, what really stood out was their taverna. Here we had delicious breakfasts as well as evening meals, with wonderful views as the sunset across the valley. We were even lucky enough to experience live music - the laouto (Greek lute) and mandolin played by Kostas and his very talented son. A musical family as well as excellent cooks and hosts! Thank you for the very best of times.

The perfect home for a couple, an impeccable apartment, you can relax by just walking along the boardwalk and breathing the sea breeze from this great place, you can shop just a few steps where there are all kinds of shops and you can appreciate the traditional Greek and Crete food. Aliki was superb from the very beginning, she helped us with the check in by giving us very clear instructions and she received us very warmly. She recommended gorgeous places to us and was available at any hour for anything. I recommend with great confidence and pleasure, Aliki will make you feel like home.

The place to stay is beautiful Well-decorated and very clean . There pool is a real plus . The location is really convenient to visit. The only downside is the noise from the road but inaudible windows closed . Maria is really responsive and friendly. The services offered are perfect . I highly recommend this place especially for its location we were able to crisscross Crete without worrying about road delays thanks to its location.

The location of the apartment on the outskirts of the old town is great. On the 6th floor it was very quiet. From the couch, I could look over the rooftops of the city to the sea. The weather was rainy for 4 days, but in the cozy apartment I didn't mind. I quickly found my way around the area. Approximately 100 m from the apartment, there is a small supermarket with a very good range of Cretan cheese and other groceries. Other supermarkets are a few minutes' walk away. I have hardly met any tourists in the immediate vicinity. The café on the first floor of the house offers small snacks and very good cappuccino. The Kipos Café in the nearby city park is also excellent. You have to see it from the inside! I took a guided bike tour with Theo (offered through this app) through the outskirts, which I liked very much. You should plan at least 5 days for Chania. Sofia supported me very well in all matters.

Kostas and Maria's Gonies Taverna and Appartments are amongst the best and most special places we have ever stayed, both in Crete and elsewhere in Europe. The situation in the mountains, just below the Lasithi Plateau is idyllic, very quiet with just the sound of mountain goats but also on a good road and in a beautiful garden full of bird sound. Kostas and Maria were wonderful generous hosts, the spacious appartment full of personal touches and breakfast (and supper) in their taverna delicious. We stayed 3 nights and would love to come back

What an incredible house in Chania, Crete. It exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well by our wonderful host, Georgia. The location of the house was ideal, easy access to beaches, shops and restaurants a short walk away. The interior of the house was air-conditioned and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped. The pool was the perfect temperature, a haven from the Cretan sun. Georgia provided us the best places to visit, eat and put us in touch with Captain Vasilis to arrange a private and affordable boat tour, taking us to secluded beaches only accessible by boat with lunch at a remote restaurant that served delicious food. Georgia went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time, and even came to see us off when we left. If you're looking for the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and warm hospitality, look no further than this incredible house in Chania. We can't wait to come back! A big thank you to Georgia x

Overall great Communication and just a wonderful vacation

The pictures do not adequately capture the beauty of this place. We loved staying at Eleftherio’s home. They warmly greeted us and quickly made us feel like family. They treated us to many goodies and the house was perfectly ready for us. Modern upgrades throughout, wonderful spa like showers. The best though- The views of the mountains are breathtaking. We also loved visiting the village. The tavern gernios is not to be missed. There is a cafe, bakery, grocery and playground about a 12 minute walk away. Such a peaceful beautiful place- we did not want to leave.

Excellent location, excellent host. Communication was great throughout - Menios made sure we had everything we needed. The swimming pool was fantastic and this place really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Ideal location of the accommodation because it is a 10-minute walk from Chania. The best part of the accommodation is the small parking for the rental car. The accommodation is ideal for up to 4 people because the bathroom is quite small, and it is difficult to dry all towels (holidays in April, difficult to dry). You can find all the amenities in Chania (pharmacies, convenience store and restaurants) and the city is very pretty, with splendid views. Olga is very responsive and welcoming and responds quickly by message to our requests. Thank you for this 8-day stay in your home.

Great holiday in a lovely house and garden. There are hills in the area but I am 70 years old and could walk to town and back for a great meal in one of the many restaurants. Overall a lovely holiday

Wonderful stay at Xeni and Demitris' place. was a perfect holiday. Demetris is very responsive and helpful. the villa is amazing and is an a great location close to the beach. the pool is great and so is the rooftop terrace for the sunset views. highly recommended. Demetris also had the kitchen and fridge full of food on our arrival. really wonderful touch.

The host are super nice, always respond to app and ask if all is well (She had even baked brownies for us). In addition, the apartment is quite spacious and every room has air conditioning. The balconies are very nice to start the day with a beautiful view. The bathroom is also great, with a rain shower and even a washing machine. In addition, everything was clean and well arranged.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this lovely apartment for an entire month, and I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my time here. The location is absolutely fantastic - not far from both the sea and the city center, which made my stay in Chania truly memorable. Host was not only super friendly but also incredibly helpful. Throughout my stay, they went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. From providing local insights to promptly addressing any questions or requests I had, their hospitality truly made this stay exceptional.

Squeaky clean. Great management. Very helpful, communicative and nice. Has its own parking spot that is hard to find in Chania. The place has been refurbished and modernised with every need anticipated and taken care of. Would definitely stay there again.
