A special house in a special place. A lovely experience on the water next to open countryside and nice small towns.

We loved our stay here. It was central to everything we wanted to see and do, incredibly walkable, lively and comfortable. The space was exactly as it appeared in the photos, and it was a very unique way to experience Amsterdam and everything it has to offer! If we are back in the city we will certainly be booking again!

Peter's boat is located in a beautiful Amsterdam neighborhood that is away from the crowds near Centraal station. Allows you to access a less touristy part of the city while still remaining close to the canals (can't get any closer!), museums, and restaurants. Peter renovated the space himself and lives in the other side of the boat but I could never hear any sounds other than the ducks in the canal. The space had everything I needed but it is tight quarters as expected for a remodeled boat so would not recommend for taller folks (I'm 5'7"/1.7m and had no issues) or people with mobility issues as there is a ladder to access the living quarters.

The Cottage is located in this small village, on a canal, with a beautiful windmill near by. Small but charming, it has everything a couple might need for a romantic and quiet getaway. The village and near by villages are very pretty and worth exploring on a bicycle. I would definitely return one day.

Our family had a perfect stay. House was beautiful, close to the city by ferry, restaurants on the waterfront and we even got in a swim just 10mins walk from the house. Was great to be able to use the bikes too. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean with great showers.

It is a beautiful accommodation overlooking the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day overlooking the lake. If the weather cooperates, you can also swim there. Will definitely be back :)

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Unfortunately, we only stayed 5 days at the place, but it was really nice. Right outside the door, two pigs grunt happily and you are really right on the edge of the forest. Everything is very idyllic. You absolutely need a car to get there. There was also a supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. In the kitchen there was everything you needed. The sauna was also really great and we slept heavenly in the beds. All in all absolutely recommended.

Very comfortable tiny home with everything you need!. Location is great with a lot to see in walking distance. Check in and out instructions were very clear and easy. We highly recommend this place!

We wanted to experience the North Sea and Haarlem and Amsterdam, the location of the apartment was ideal for that. Everything was optimally accessible by bike and train

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed very good and everything practical and nicely decorated. The location is great and a free large parking lot is just around the corner. Nel is very accommodating, quickly accessible and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely place, nice and quiet and in the middle of the countryside. Cottage is small but very smartly decorated. Great beds. Felt completely at home. Communication with jasmine was great. Recommended!

Honestly probably one of the best hosts I have interacted with on Airbnb. He is very well with communicating, he even gave us a whole website to guide the check in and check out processes. Super friendly and is nothing short of perfect with all the expectations he set. The place is quite calm and easy to find relaxing for a vacation. Would 100% recommend for a family or a group of friends going on a calm vacation.

We had a fantastic stay, the kids and adults loved playing in the clean canal/water. Day trip to Amsterdam and a day visiting the beautiful Wander Island! Richard and Paula are great hosts and very accommodating and extremely helpful, would recommend booking with them!

This place is incredible. The pictures (which are amazing) don't do it justice. Simply an incredible place, an incredible location, beautiful and immaculate home. We used it as a base to explore the surrounding area. My only regret is that we didn't spend longer in the place itself. Out of this world. If you're hesitating on this listing, don't, book it!!!! The host had fantastic communication also.

How do you define perfection? For me, it’s enjoying a winter day roasting camping fare, indulging in the woody aroma of a sauna, having breakfast by the tranquil riverside with wildlife as company, and letting my mind, body, and soul drift joyfully through the flow of the day. This place is truly the epitome of a hidden retreat in the city. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need, offering functionality and comfort. Marty is a warm and thoughtful host who went out of his way to check on us, adding a personal touch to our stay. I will definitely come back! Nice houseboat in a beautiful spot on the lakes.

Our stay in this lovely villa was truly a highlight! The house is very modern, stylish, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt completely at home. The peaceful location and the view of the water provided pure relaxation. Ginger and Pepsi, the two cats, were the absolute highlight for us and made our stay even more special! The management was super friendly and helpful, and every question was answered quickly. We’d love to return in summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor activities like the SUP boards. Highly recommended!
