Cabin vacation rentals in Dartmouth

Just back from a lovely weekend away at Tom’s cabin. The cabin was in a great location, private, peaceful with beautiful wildlife surroundings. The hot tub was a real treat. Great communication from Tom during the weekend if needed, check in and out was a breeze. A perfect weekend for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations.

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at Willow Lodge, Emma was a great host and very helpful. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed, the Hot Tub was much appreciated after a long walk on Dartmoor. Kingslakes is very dog friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the on-site restaurant/bar. Already looking forward to our next visit!

This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We felt right at home. The property was warm and welcoming and very well equipped. We brought some extra things with us for cooking but there was no need as everything was already there. We loved the property's beach/sea theme and the welcome tray was a lovely surprise after our long journey. We would definitely recommend a visit!

Well, what can we say about The Den. Completely secluded, from the moment we walked it the decor oozed luxury and the dark moody subtle interior set the tone for a 'shut the world away & stay cozy' from the chaotic'ness of day to day life. There wasn't a single need that wasn't thought about. The sauna and hot tub were lovely additions to the stay. Truly no need to leave just take in the surrounding and snuggle up with a good book. We will most definitely be back for another stay. Well done team Hideaway 👏🏻

Wow what an amazing find! This place is fabulous. Very clean, absolutely loads of essentials. They have thought of everything. Would highly recommend this place to stay. The outside space is perfect, hot tub was great and the other side of the cabin has a beautiful bbq area. The Sauna was great and nice addition. We loved the golf. Can’t wait to return!

What a phenomenal stay. Absolutely lovely place, a wonderful host and beautiful surroundings. Very rarely do I find myself thinking I'd return to the same place, but the whole family would love to go back. A very peaceful and secluded place, not somewhere made to look so but in reality is set in a holiday complex. Thank you to Kylie and her family for a fantastic stay.

Riverside Lodge was absolutely stunning and everything we were looking for. Perfect space if you're looking for some tranquility but also easily drivable to explore Dartmouth and Totnes. Carey and Laila were very responsive and kept in touch right from booking and thoroughout our stay. Would definitely recommend to a friend/book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a magical place. The pictures don’t do it justice - everything from the homely space itself to the beautiful setting in the woods. The moors are so close, it was breathtaking. Even the local pub was a delight! Sarah’s place was super accommodating for our slightly neurotic terrier as feels private and the ease of being able to let yourself in meant no unnecessary barking! They even supplied a dog bed, bowl, towel and treats which was very sweet and meant we could travel light. I’d 100% come again and have already recommended to friends. Thanks so much!

What an absolute pleasure Katie was, from the first minute I booked the place until the last minute. Great location and a fantastic bungalow we stayed in. The views were amazing. Katie was always at hand with any questions or queries. So much to do around the area and driving distance to a lot more.

This little cabin has the ‘wow’ factor from the views to the thoughtful details such as tea and coffee and milk provided, very effective heating, full range of cleaning products and equipment and an excellent visitors handbook. Plus the whole place was spotlessly clean and well decorated throughout.

We absolutely loved the location and the accommodation, we would definitely come back, a perfect break, just what we needed. Paul’s place is a perfect haven.

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

This is a small piece of heaven. The hut is in a wonderful location with breathtaking views. There was plenty of room and the set up was great. Tons of beautiful places to visit nearby. Take your own firelighters. One downside is the table is tiny, so if it’s raining then it’s really hard to eat properly as a family, but we managed! If the weather is good there’s a picnic table outside, so it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Everything about The Nest was perfect! Little touches like salt and pepper, spices, toiletries, beach towels and milk etc made it so easy. It is so peaceful and relaxing and sitting on the terrace watching the sunset was the best part of the day! Having two bathrooms is a real plus! The beds are very comfortable and the linen is lush! The outside space is beautifully kept and there are plenty of spaces to sit and relax. Although it is on a working farm we were never disturbed except for the occasional noisy sheep 🐑 and the plentiful bird life 🐦‍⬛🦉 I would highly recommend staying here for the peace and quiet! We found that Modbury was a great location to venture out from and the stunning coastline was not too far away. We could not think of anything that Felicity hasn’t already thought of and we would be really happy to stay again. A wonderful five days at ‘The Nest’ Thank you Felicity

We had a wonderful stay at Pine Lodge. The place was so peaceful and is nestled in gorgeous scenery, with amazing views from the living room window and verandah. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice! It’s a cosy and characterful home - we came in the spring which can be cool and wet, but we were nice and warm indoors here. There are some beautiful walks right on the doorstep and we really enjoyed exploring the landscape. This would be the perfect place to take yourself off to if you wanted to sit and write uninterrupted with inspiring views and nature all around! Clare is a friendly and helpful host and we received a warm welcome, with a cream tea waiting for us on arrival. We don’t drive but had no problem getting a taxi from the station at Newton Abbot at the start and end of our stay.

Had a lovely stay at the cabin for me and my partners anniversary weekend. Was a lovely escape & was surrounded by beautiful scenery. The area was quiet and extremely peaceful. It has everything you need including cooking supplies. Julia was really friendly and responded quickly to any questions. So glad we found this place & would definitely go back!!

Great getaway here! Easy to book, new amenities, smart new decor, great shower, fully functioning oven, job and microwave. Good directions to get to the place and easy self check in. (Just note there is no wifi and bring a spare toilet roll as we used our 1 roll up pretty quickly).

We had a lovely stay, perfectly located to visit either coast. Jonathan was extremely friendly and available if needed, loved the extra touch of a cream tea on arrival. Cabin is comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Will be back 😊

Heavitree Hideaway was everything we needed for our short trip to Exeter., and the added extras of cereals, tea, coffee etc were a lovely addition! Paulas directions were spot on (even if we did try and first get into the outside loo). Overall a great base for an explore for a few days.

An absolute wonderful place! The surroundings are beautiful, the house is stylish and functional! It’s clean and very well maintained. There is a profound emphasis on environmental friendly solutions. Everything is well thought through and practical. The hosts are friendly and communicative! This is definitely a place to come back to!! Thank you again!!!
