Serenity on Coba Point

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had the most relaxing stay at this secluded Coba Point retreat. Arriving by water taxi set the tone for a peaceful escape with no wraps and no noise, only the hum of passing boats. The home sits right on the water, the perfect spot to let the world slow down. A special little house, every corner reflects the Owner's story, from art, books and photographs. A house full of cherished memories making it feel like you are stepping into their story. We spent the cosy winter nights, cuddled up near the indoor fire, playing scrabble, sipping on vino and chilling. The house has everything you need. A well equipped kitchen, WiFi and even a black out kit (in case there is an issue with the solar power). We'd love for the bed to have been a little softer however, waking to the incredible water views from the bed made up for it. We'll be back.

Other than we were asked to pay extra price each for bed sheets, but there were some on the bed already ? However other than that we had a fabulous time staying in Shoal Bay. The house is in a prime location very easy accessible, parking right outside the property. The area is fabulous walking distance to some lovely bars and beaches. Comfortable beds .How was very clean , Couldn’t fault the house.

Surfside Dreaming Cottage

Fantastic experience! Julie and her husband were super warm and friendly, our favourite hosts for our NSW trip! It was supsr easy to find and Julie's communication was great. The accommodation was spotless and well appointed, it felt just like home. The house is surrounded by lush trees and we even spotted a couple tawny frog mouths, but the highlight for our trip was getting to see two womats! Would definitely stay again! Our young guest is very excited to see if she can spot a wild koala next stay! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Quiet and private 5 minutes walk rail, shops

CarolRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Margaret's place was as pretty as the listing suggests! It is a studio, but big enough for a short stay and completely hidden from Margaret and Martin's home. The garden is beyond beautiful and would be a cool and shady spot in Summer. It rained a lot when we were there, but the heat pump kept the small space warm. The leadlight windows are lovely and Martin was extra helpful with TV problems, although he didn't manage to sort them out. Streaming from phone was possible, however, so it didn't concern us too much. The cottage is a short walk down tree-lined streets to marvellous shops, Harris Farms, IGA, and cafes as well as the train. There is a grassed, open area and great cafe/restaurant down a short lane in the shopping centre, but we didn't find it till our last day. We were very grateful for Martin and Margaret's help and friendliness during our stay - totally recommended!
A wicker daybed sits invitingly in the backyard, surrounded by greenery. Nearby, a fire pit features a gently flickering flame, adding warmth to the outdoor space. A large sliding door opens to a cozy studio, revealing a queen bed and a relaxed interior.

Woodlands Seaside: Coastal Calm in Avoca Beach

We enjoyed our time in this private and beautiful space. Even though the neighbors are close it felt secure and secluded. Dinners on the veranda were an absolute highlight as well as monopoly with the crew. I didn’t realize the second bedroom wasn’t a part of the house but it’s own separate unit so that was a surprise but it ended up being okay. The kitchen was perfect and bedding was comfy!
