Rural RetreatQuiet and isolated
Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. Pets are allowed by agreement, email us to ask.

Jacks Cottage -
A beautiful oak framed building with great views of the south downs. Accommodation comprising of a comfortable lounge with TV and wifi and log burner. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, oven and microwave. One double bedroom downstairs with en suite shower room. Upstairs there is a mezzanine with two single beds and a sitting area above the lounge area with a bathroom with free standing bath. The outside space is a south facing patio with table and chairs and a BBQ is available.

The house itself is late Victorian, with generously proportioned rooms and high ceilings. There are 2 interconnecting bedrooms with a shared shower room. Both bedrooms have double beds. Breakfast isn't provided but there is a kitchen for self catering. The living area has a woodburning stove. NB there is no tv!

Very much a home from home, you can step into a little bit of history with its numerous period features including oak beams, wattle and daub walls and an inglenook fireplace.
