Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Cuyahoga River

This is our second stay at Jennifer’s and still has a very wonderful and pleasant experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Donna's place. It was conveniently located with access to the interstates, but not so close that you could hear traffic. Her place is located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the mid century look. The house was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. We hope to stay again when we are in the area.

While we did have an issue at check in, Vincent worked with us to make it right. The neighborhood and location in general were absolutely perfect for us. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and for us location was extremely important as we were visiting a family member for the weekend who is just several streets over. We have a large family, finding Airbnbs to accommodate even half the family is challenging. Vincent's place is comfortable and clean with all the cookware you could ask for.

Amazing views, comfy beds, nice space! We saw blue herons every day! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take advantage of the lake for anything other than looking at it from inside, but the location on the lake was amazing.

Matthew’s house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Though it’s close to the highway, it was quite peaceful. It was well furnished and had everything we were expecting. They have a large bed full of flowers in the front of the house and a nice fenced backyard that our dog enjoyed playing in. His co-host Christine was very responsive. We enjoyed our time there and would love to stay there again.

Host was incredible responsive and helpful. A good place to relax while working in Cleveland. Would stay again.

Marks place was beautiful. The house was just like the pics showed. All open concept downstairs and beautiful bedrooms upstairs. We took our dogs and they loved it. Fenced in back yard, very peaceful place. String of lights outside on deck is perfect for evenings to sit out. Also has a grill so you can BBQ out as well. Not far from town either. There were a couple cute little diners and restaurants that we checked out. Highly recommend Marks place. Would definitely love to visit again.

My family and I enjoyed our 2nd stay at Simba's House. Mornings were spent swinging on the porch swing, drinking coffee and listening to birds and church bells. Our afternoons were filled with walks in numerous nearby parks. SH includes various household supplies such as herbs, laundry detergent, and even tape, ensuring trips to the store are not necessary. We are looking forward to a 3rd visit to Simba's House Century Home with all it's charm!

You get exactly what you pay for, a beautiful home and view. Host response time and professionalism is excellent! Check-in/ check-out instructions being available step by step was a great help and very much appreciated. Perfect bnb for a couple and or small family get away!

This was a lovely home to stay in. Comfortable, clean, spacious and a nice open area outside to hang out. Vince and Whitney were easy to communicate with, made themselves available and provided a truly nice atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was great! We did have to hunt down some towels and the lock to the game room was not working, but the host was extremely helpful and very responsive. Would definitely book with host again he was great! House was as deceived and perfect for our family that was in town for a wedding. Loved the kitchen and the ping pong dining table was a hit with our crew! Thanks for a great stay!

We were in Cleveland for College graduation. Great location, walkable to everything we needed to do. Great restaurants, bars, stores around this location. Room was as described in listing, check in and check out easy. Building clean and security great going in and out. Overall, I would recommend this listing to others visiting the Cleveland area. You will be very satisfied.

Our stay was great we enjoyed the hot tub and the games that were in the house. We also loved the kitchen and how big the sofa was. Can’t forget how comfy the beds were. Definitely would stay again.

Had a challenge getting in, no fault of the host! The keypad was down for a while . The host handle the situation and stayed in contact with me. The condo was clean and very comfortable. Definitely recommend 💯🫶🏽

We had a very comfortable stay in Vermillion. We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Oberlin which is only about 25 minutes away. The neighborhood is quiet and about a 2 mile walk to downtown Vermillion which is lovely. The house was comfortable and clean. The communication with the host was good. The backyard/deck is beautiful and a great place to sit and play cards and enjoy the outdoors.

Our experience was fantastic! From the time I booked the reservation to the time we checked out, Anthony was responsive, helpful, and positive. As an example, we had trouble with the door lock (our fault!) and contacted the host. Within minutes, we had text messages and a follow up phone call to make sure we got in OK. As for the location, there are great views of the lake and the river, and the walkability to the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame and Huntington Field was super convenient. Once we parked our car, we didn’t need to drive anywhere for our entire stay. We’re already talking about our next visit. It was a great experience, thanks for everything! Cheers, John

Eric's place was in a great spot for us. EXTREMELY responsive host. Very clear instructions for everything, including the parking. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do, which was great, because once we parked our car, it was NOT coming out until we were leaving Cleveland. The parking garage is like tetris. If you have a car larger than a mid-size SUV, good luck! I felt right at home in the apartment. The decor in the living room is super cheery and the large windows are great. I'd definitely stay there again if I find myself in Cleveland.

Faith was a great host. She was very accommodating and gave us space. For an old house, it was very comfortable and cozy and Faith even had Christmas decorations including a small tree which we were super thankful for. We would definitely visit again.

Annie was a excellent host, my stay was comfy and clean. I recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Ray’s place. We enjoyed the decorating flair which featured carefully chosen period pieces and a great sense of humor and whimsy. Lots of games were available and the well stocked kitchen also included a few staples to get us started. Wonderful too that this is a pet friendly home! Thank you Ray and Anthony!

Our group of 3 couples stayed six nights at this lovely home. It was clean, well stocked and centrally located to our activities. The neighborhood was so peaceful. We used the hot tub every evening and played several games of ping pong. The host was responsive to all our questions. I would recommend this house and would stay here again!

Mara’s place was wonderful - clean, comfortable and updated - perfect for our family! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked; the bedrooms were supplied with plenty of pillows and high quality linens. The location was so convenient and easy to access. Would love to stay again when in the Akron area; highly recommend!!

This little house was the perfect spot for us to walk in to town and enjoy the river/gorge area, as well as see a show at Blossom.....super close to the national park areas. Dog-friendly with a fenced in back yard. There are neighbors/dogs close by, which is to be expected in town. The house was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable with cute/cozy decorations throughout. The house does have a musty smell as other reviewers noted, basement area a little worse than upstairs. I have allergies but it didn't really bother me - just something to note. We enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area, especially for the convenience of having our dog with us.
