Great place - ideal for groups of friends or family meets. Spacious communal areas including a nice outdoor area. Peaceful location, communication from host was good and the house was well stocked - over and above what would be expected. Would happily return.

We had a great time at Paula's place! It's so lovely and cozy, in a very quiet neighbourhood, yet just a quick walk away from the station and the city centre. She even organized a high chair for our baby, and welcomed us with everything for a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't use the garden as it was too cold, but it looked wonderful, too - the perfect place to relax after a long day out.

Really great value for money; big and spacious enough for four, with 2 comfortable double beds, and Lynn even supplied us with breakfast things! The little courtyard was so lovely to sit outside.

A wonderful stay in a great place, very convenient for events at the nearby Stone Barn. Friendly hosts and treated to breakfast too!

We had a lovely 6 night stay at Strawtop Cottage 2. We were 4 adults and the accommodations were delightful. The beds were so comfortable. The cottage is beautifully styled and maintained to an impeccable standard. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the comfortable furnishings, is first class. Josie and Charlie are wonderful hosts that go above and beyond. They welcomed us with generous local goodies that added a lovely personal touch. The amenities throughout are wonderful and the recommendations they gave us for places to visit and dine were on point. We highly recommend Strawtop Cottage to anyone looking for a wonderful experience at a charming cottage in a lovely village easily accessible to all that the Cotswolds has to offer. Thank you again Josie and Charlie for making our first trip to the Cotswolds absolutely perfect! We will be back!

We love this little home from home! Great walks.. and access to so much in the village.. good pubs, shop and more.. especially the train line to Reading and London!

Pleased with where we stayed, We stayed here while having a meal at Le Manoir Restaurant as its only 20 mins drive away. Comfortable and clean.

Julia’s place was a great place to stay for me and my dog. Such an amazing place and really peaceful which was exactly what I was hoping for. The place was fantastic and had anything you could want, Julia was on hand to help and made sure I had everything I needed to use the BBQ. Thanks for a great stay!

If we could give a rating of higher than 5 stars, we would. James is welcoming and very responsive. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed is extremely comfortable. The kitchen includes top quality crockery, cutlery, etc. as well as a few food supplies in the cupboard and fridge. Everything that we required was provided. In addition to that James went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We stayed for four days and could have stayed longer. We will definitely return, if the occasion arises. Lovely place to stay to explore Cotswolds. Clean and peaceful. Just a few walks away from the well-known Arlington Row. Anne is very nice to provide us breakfast. Easy and smooth check-in and check-out also.

had a truly lovely 2-night stay at Rachel’s place in the Cotswolds. From the moment I arrived, Rachel was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a charming village, an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway. Rachel went above and beyond by leaving fresh fruit and croissants for me, which was such a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. Everything was just as described (if not better), and I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Host was very flexible regarding our check in time, as we was unable to provide an exact time of arrival until an hour before. The apartment was nice, clean and lovely and warm on arrival and the location was very peaceful Would have been nice to stay for longer than one night.

The Studio was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The space itself was lovely and had everything you needed and more! Lots to do in the area and only a short walk to get into the town centre. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burford at Gabi and Manfred’s beautiful, historic home. We felt Burdord is the perfect spot to stay while seeing other countryside towns/villages. Gabi serves a wonderful breakfast on a the patio (weather permitting) with a crackling fire for warmth and ambiance. The room has a wonderful view of the town, is both immaculate and private plus has a feel of “back-in-time”. You can walk to shops and restaurants within a minute. A truly unique and special experience. We hope to have a reason to visit again.

Christine was very hospitable, attentive and helpful :) she helped us make reservations at a local pub, she gave us a phone number for the local cab that helped us when we couldn’t find a ride to the train station, she greeted us and offered us tea and had non dairy milk which was awesome, her breakfast in the morning was delicious and I felt very comfortable and at home here. Beautiful garden that was nice to walk around. Cute town that is walkable and peaceful. I would stay here again everything was lovely.

It was a great stay. Super clean and cosy bedroom with lovely little touches. Very grateful for the hairdryer. Easy walk into town - would recommend going along the towpath by the river. Really nice hot shower too. Quiet and comfortable stay overall.

Wonderful stay. We were in the area for a wedding at the location was superb. Helen and Steve were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and room was well equipped. We hope to be back one day!

The property was easy to find and we received clear instructions with a lovely welcoming sign. Check-in was a breeze and David was a super friendly host. The breakfast provided was exceptional and it was lovely to be able to pick a time for breakfast and there were various options. Inside was spotless, it was very clean and well presented and there was space to park our vehicle outside. Superb location, lovely countryside setting and great host. Would 100% return. I so enjoyed my one night stay at this absolutely unique waterfront hideaway right on The Thames! Carolyn is so friendly, considerate and helpful; making me feel right at home. There are lovely touches like an electric blanket if needed for the (super comfortable) double bed! Plus private table for your tea /breakfast with private waterfront lawn area. The ensuite shower room is great and there's a large hanging wardrobe too. The room is super quiet in a very peaceful residential area. Yet still only a 7 minute drive from central Abingdon. Highly recommend for a one night stay or longer if you don't mind vacating the premises during the day. A real find , thank you Carolyn🙏🌺!
