For the purpose of our trip which was to take in 6 or 7 waterfalls, it was a perfect location. Cane Creek Falls, Rockhouse Falls, Fall Creek Falls and Piney Falls are within minutes of this Cottage. This was spacious place with a wonderful wrap-around porch. The Wifi worked well and have pretty good reach outside as well. Plenty of wood was there for use for the fire pit. The HVAC system cooled the place with ease. Definitely a private location. Other than cars passing by, we saw no one. Ha. There is a Dollar General about 10 miles away, so you need to plan ahead for getting groceries there. These are curve mountain roads, so you don't get anywhere quickly, but we expected that. We didn't use the hot tub, but there was one there in good working order. There were string lights up and down, so when it got dark, there was no problem seeing your way around. We really enjoyed this location and would reserve it again if we visited this area in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

We liked how close to the main road this was with still feeling secluded too. The pond was not in sight from the house, it was down the road a little so we didn’t allow the kids to go down. It’s very swampy and overgrown. Would require supervision. The construction as noted in ad did not bother us at all, couldn’t hear it inside, but we were gone during the days. It’s not pretty to look at necessarily, but it didn’t bother. House set up is perfect for adults on one side and kids on other. Washer/dryer was convenient to have. There are beach towels that can be used for hot tub. And plenty of towels/washcloths etc. Variety of cooking items/silverware, etc. The grill is a charcoal grill. Noted in ad too regarding WiFi it was a bit spotty but our phones worked better being off the WiFi. We didn’t feel this bothered any of us at all. We used the main tv one time and it worked fine. Hosts are very responsive and friendly and tends to concerns.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Home was exactly what we were looking for with our selection. Peaceful area with hiking near the home in the Taylorsville State Park.

This was our second stay with Margie and Chris. This is a great little cottage. 1 minute drive to wears valley road. 5 min drive to the parkway if that far. Very quick to respond if you have any questions. We got into town early and we were allowed to check in a couple hours early. Nice honey CLEAN place. Will be staying here again.

This place was perfect! Very quiet and ever detail that she did was so nice. I felt like home and that’s exactly what we needed. Can’t wait to go back would highly recommend a stay here.

Jasmine is an excellent host with great communication. Her place is extremely nice and clean. It was the perfect place for what I needed. Mr only complaint is that if you are coming in the dark, it is a little hard to find. Regardless, an amazing place and I would stay here again.

We had a very nice relaxing time at the cabin. It was perfect for me and my husband and our Dutchess. Easy to find and great communication.

The cottage is quite literally a little slice of heaven!! We really did not want to leave. It is cute, peaceful and homey! We slept so well with a really comfortable king size bed & great pillows and the silence….just priceless!! This is the perfect spot for that out in the country feel yet only a short drive into the heart of Cookeville. Hosts Debi & Ralph are such special and wonderful people and we honestly feel so lucky to have met them and know they will be friends for life!!! They are so responsive and respectful words cannot describe the level of caring they put into their labor of love!! The place is so enchanting & even better in person than in pictures!!

We stayed at this house for a month, and we really enjoyed it. It is at the end of a private road and up a lovely, tree-lined driveway not far from town. It has been nicely remodeled. The kitchen is pretty and has the necessities. It has a beautiful view of the hills and creek out the large window in the living room. My kids had a blast playing in the creek and with the games available. The property is expansive as well and has some trails. The beds were comfortable, too. The water pressure in the shower was pretty low, but it got the job done! Just make sure to bring tick spray and know how to identify and avoid poison ivy if you want to explore around outside. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for letting us stay!

Very local, private, very close to downtown, easy to get around, beautiful place to stay, definitely recommend to anyone who is interested.

We loved staying the extended weekend at Liam’s place in Franklin. Liam was extremely responsive and clear with instructions. The home is clean, private, and quiet. Everything is peaceful and well maintained. We hope to stay again next time we are in town!

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s home. We walked to 12 South every day, and felt right at home with all of the amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was a week at the end of May 2025. The Cicadas were loud and active. The heavy rains and high lake levels caused logs and debris to basically block our dock so we couldn’t use the provided kayaks or paddle boards… just Mother Nature. We did enjoy a couple of bonfires in the evenings with plenty of firewood provided. S’mores were also supplied along with forks. There were a lot of sitting areas on the porch and decks and yard. The cottage was clean with a spacious living room and kitchen, lovely decorated with plenty of dishes and linens supplied. There is a dollar store and an ice-cream store 10 minutes away. All in all our family enjoyed this cottage.

Beautiful location and scenery. The cabin was even better than expected. If you enjoy winery’s Kim’s place is a no brainer and definitely worth the visit. We were extremely impressed with the selection and quality of wine!

This little cabin was so nice for a weekend getaway! Harry, the host, was so nice, welcoming and easy to get a hold of. There is a nice outdoor area in front of the house and around the side that is great for hanging out. Plenty of things to do provided with the house (card games, fire pit, tv, dominos, etc). Everything was super clean and easy to find. Check in was a breeze. This is also a nice area for a morning, if you don’t mind hills. The toaster burnt my toast after about 30 seconds — but i’m chalking that up to user error, haha! There’s not a thing I would change about the cabin or Harry. This is an excellent deal for a private cabin, and you should definitely stay here if you have the opportunity.

This stay was really relaxing and peaceful! The home was very clean and set up for our stay! We had plenty of seating in the front of the house and on the beautiful back deck to enjoy the nature. The stay went as smooth as anyone could ask for! I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying around this area.
