Local shops, restaurants, pubs and the famous Scarthin Books within 5 minutes walk. View of hills below Black Rocks. On street parking free. You may have to park away from cottage at busy times. Cromford railway station 15 minutes walk away.

A pretty stone built quaint cottage located a few minutes walk from the centre of Matlock with Victorian pubs, restaurants and antique shops on the edge of the Peak District national park. Study Farm Cottage - Sleeps 2 - Scenic location
The cottage which dates from 1845, is situated in Bonsall village, high above the wooded 'Via Gellia' gorge. Matlock Bath is 2 miles by car or a scenic walk through woodland. Superb walks from the door to the limestone moors above. Within easy driving distance of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Arkrights Mills. Crich Tramway Museum and Carsington Water. Bonsall has two pubs and a Tea Room a few minutes walk from the property. Bonsall Carnival week starts on the last Saturday of July every year.

Beautiful cottage in Peak District
Acacia Cottage has wonderful views and is a great location (walks, peak district, cycle track). It is also very well appointed and equipped. Originally three miners cottages, Acacia Cottage boasts three good-sized double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one study/bedroom with a sofabed, plus modern kitchen with gas range, large dining room, sitting room, study and large sunroom. Under-floor heating and wood burner make this delightful snug in winter. Good wi-fi and flat screen tv/DVD.
