A self-contained annexe, with its own kitchen and bathroom plus a separate bedroom on an open-plan mezzanine floor above, accessible via a spiral staircase. There is a large comfortable sofa bed in the living room which can accommodate two adults. There is free parking on the drive for one car. The open-plan nature of the layout make the annexe most suitable to a couple or family of 3 (or 3 close friends!) Please be aware that the stairs can prove challenging to older visitors.

Built in 1776 by Sir Richard Arkwright, it is part of a designated UNESCO world heritage site. The Annexe to Belle Vue House was built for Servants to the main house in 1823. The grade 2 listed building commands an elevated position overlooking Matlock Bath. The property has been lovingly updated to keep period features while providing modern living. The property is accessible via a flight of stone stairs from the lower drive way. Due to the period nature and historic listing road side parking is necessary.
