Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

Set in the grounds of our thatched farmhouse but with total privacy and peace. Renovated to a high standard, the cottage is spacious, sunny and has a hot tub for your private use! The perfect get away, with lovely rural views and complete tranquility but local villages and towns are only a stone's throw away. Large well equipped kitchen with dining, 2 bathrooms, a spacious lounge and two good sized bedrooms, all tastefully decorated. Award winning gastropub 5 mins walk. A lovely rural retreat.

All the photos are taken on or at the farm. The cottage sits within a ninety acre farm, Higher Easthams Farm.The market town of Crewkerne is a pretty, ham stone town that sits in beautiful countryside perfect for all manner of outdoor pursuits. The River Parrett and trail runs through the farm . We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

A converted stable on a peaceful farm surrounded by acres of countryside but within striking distance of Sherborne and good National Trust gardens. The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

The cottage is in stoke sub hamdon Ham Hill is a 390 acres country park centred on a huge Iron Age hill fort. which is popular for picnicking, walking and mountain biking, situated at he top of ham hill is the Prince of Wales Pub which is dog friendly. The Jurassic coast is from 40 minutes by car. West bay, Lyme Regis.
