The place was wonderful. It was as described and very quiet, especially at night. The proximity to the Redwoods made it a perfect place for us to stay on our visit to the big trees. Thank you. 😊

Marshawn's place had some really cool features. My kids loved the bunk bed room with the Pacman, and the record player and pellet stove were fun to have. Note that this is right on the HWY so the car traffic noise is noticeable, but overall our stay was very comfortable!

Beautiful location overlooking the beach and ocean, with a covered outdoor space that is wonderful for watching nature in action. Bring binoculars to look for whales. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils and kitchen tools, and the house has an extensive collection of vinyl records. Overall a very comfortable place to hang out for a while and take in the sea and air.

We loved staying here - we stayed for 5 nights as we explored Redwoods National and State Parks and the Samuel H Boardman Scenic Byway. Home to as perfect - beds were very comfortable and the host was very responsive if needed. We loved being able to walk down to the beach and watching sunsets!

The home was pristine! So clean and still smelled new. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our favorite part was coffee in the morning on the deck while looking into the trees. Only drawback is the mosquitoes in the evening! Man, they ruined happy hour. The owners supplied bug spray though, which was thoughtful. Overall, we had an incredible stay. If we were in the area, we would definitely stay again. Thanks!!

This stay was perfect. I wanted a peaceful, relaxing trip for my birthday and I couldn’t have imagined anything better. Between the hot tub at sunset to walking the beach at low tide, it was exactly what I wanted. The beach is more rocks (think tumbled rocks at a gift shop before they’re tumbled) instead of shells so it was nice exploring something different. If I ever return to Brookings, I’ll check the availability of this home first, it was worth every penny.

This was above expectations when we arrived. Home is tucked away in the woods with the beautiful waters of Smith River flowing behind. No access to the river from the residence, but there is access in the area. Home was very clean, and beds were cozy. Highly recommend.

We loved this house. It is huge! It fit our family of 8 easily. The outdoor space was amazing. I think this is the nicest house in the whole town! And it was close to many attractions.

we needed a last minute place and they had availability and responded immediately, extremely friendly and amazing people, the place was absolutely amazing and beautiful we didn't want to leave a I know I will be back, they house and area are unbelievably beautiful we fully recommend this place,I can say enough good things about Barbara and Patrick and their amazing home

We loved the Sea Escape! It was much more than we imagined, and loved the big grassy area for our dogs to run and play and the beautiful overlook and steps down to the gorgeous, semi private beach! We will definitely recommend to others and come back on our next trip to the nor Cal beaches!

My wife and I went here for honeymoon and the airbnb was nice and clean, my wife loved the decorations, really close to a lot of cool places and restaurants, we had a great time.

Cute little space to stay, really close walk to the beach! Kid friendly, my son had a great time. Comfy beds and cute little kitchen. Perfect for a little weekend getaway.

We loved our stay here! Both nights of our stay we caught breathtaking views of the sunset on their secluded patio, while being surrounded by their beautiful flowers. Their courtyard felt like you were briefly stepping into a European oasis, and right outside the gate was the adventure-filled town of Brookings and the Samuel H. Boardman Corridor less than 5 minutes away. If we find ourselves back in Brookings, we will definitely be returning.

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

We were on a road trip down the 101 and this was the perfect landing spot for a nights rest before heading into the Redwood National Forrest. Patrick was a friendly host and greeted up upon arrival. We arrived late and did not have a chance to take in the coastal views unfortunately. Snacks are provided during the stay and was nice to have because many places were closed when we arrived. EV charging is provided and if you have a Tesla, you will need your own JJ adapter to charge your car and was easy to access. We would stay here again

This was the most peaceful and serene vacation I’ve ever had. Patrick was so sweet and we loved running into him but he was also super respectful of our time and privacy. The property was so incredibly beautiful. The amenities provided were amazing, not to mention the heated floors!! Brookings is such a beautiful place, and staying at this airbnb felt like the perfect way to experience it. We really appreciated the little binder full of recommendations. I wish I could give 10 stars, we hope to be back again.
